There are a bunch of hypothetical blow-up trades in that article.

I voted no because the only real blow it up would include trading away Curry. That will never happen. Trading Wiggins and ? is just rearranging deck chairs.

Trading Wiggins here would be to get a future asset to help with the post-Curry era.

This is pretty funny.

I would do every Draymond trade in this article in a heartbeat.

The Steph trade to Charlotte for Miles Bridges would make me root for another team.

If they don't want to trade for Zion, I say blow it up. Just pick a lane. I don't really care which lane.

I'm down to trade Draymond.

The reality is that the Warriors aren't trading Steph and aren't fully going to rebuild any time soon, so I don't really get thinking about it. Even the idea of Draymond getting traded is likely fantasy. Wiggins I don't think nets very much, but if someone offers something nice, sure I'd take the deal.

Trading Draymond while keeping Steph would make the Warriors worse and Curry more miserable and lonely. Why would you want to do Steph like that?

These fake Curry trades bring the Warriors 3-4 firsts plus two pick swaps. That's how you go about rebuilding a franchise.

If we could get Whitmore and draft collateral from Houston, I’d fly from Australia to SF, hire a car and drive Draymond to Houston.

I love Draymond and respect all that he has done for Golden State and my basketball life but I feel it’s time to move on.

Yes,trade them both forthe right price, it will be the best for everyone.

I blame modern medicine and the advanced knowledge of elite athletic science for our current predicament. This would all be much easier if Steph retired at the normal age of 35ish, like a normal standard human being would. Instead, modern science has kept him healthy enough so that right at the death of his career, it still seems like we should be persuing championships, along with his ageing running mate (who is a shell of himself, but benefiting massively from his superstar alien Peter Pan friend remaining seemingly ageless).

This would all be better, if Steph called it a day, Dray either stayed or went (either way, we will suck), and we begin the rebuild process.

The only way we can properly blow it up is to trade Steph for a gazillion 1sts.

My version of blowing it up would not include trading Steph even if that means a lot more picks. I don't really care if it's illogical, I want Steph finishing his career with the dubs even if it's in a Dirk like role.

That being said, I could support something like:

- Dray to Atlanta for Capela and a couple 1sts.

- Wiggins to Toronto for Brown and a couple 1sts.

Draft Fears and either CMB/Sorber and we'd have the money to either pay Kuminga + one or two guys like NAW... or maybe even persuade old guys like Lebron or Jimmy + Brook Lopez/etc to have a year or two of one last attempt at a ring while not giving up future/picks.

I'm in this camp, and that won't change. I want Steph to retire a Warrior, then move into the front office after a year or 2 of rest.

The very last thing I want, is for the front office to trade the future trying to chase 1 more title, by bringing in expensive aged vets. If we are to make trades, I want picks. Trade Dray, Wiggins, Schroeder, Kuminga, Looney, whatever, just don't trade Steph. Quietly begin the rebuild with Steph on his retirement tour I say.

Do you guys really think anyone is giving us first round picks for Draymond? There's a few teams that might be talked into thinking they need him, but I don't think they're giving up much for him. Wiggins probably has a bit more value because he's younger, but you're not getting a haul for him either.

Trading Steph is the only way to get a sizable collection of assets, I do think some teams would give up a lot to add him as the piece that gives them the edge to win it all. Problem is you'd have to take back a large amount of salary (and even more next year and more the year after) that you wouldn't want to carry forward, finding that much in expirings might be difficult. Plus it would be advantageous for the Warriors to get under the tax this season if they want to start a rebuild.

In other words, they're probably screwed either way. Do I want to see Steph leave? No. Do I want to see Steph stay here and play 82 increasingly frustrating games every year while he slowly declines himself? Also no.

I think Atlanta might give up something. They just need more D and leadership.

As for the Dubbs, getting rid of Dray and Curry... will enable the Dubbs be a player of trades to get even more assets by being so much under salary hell.
