Nuggets at Warriors national St. Paddy's day game 7pm on ESPN

Post#1 » by Twinkie defense » Mon Mar 17, 2025 10:21 pm

Story lines:

Will Stephen Curry and Quinten Post be available?

Biggest game of the Jimmy Butler era to date?

Will Draymond get the primary assignment on Nikola Jokić?

Are we still allowed to refer to it as St. Patrick's Day? I have this annoying cousin who insists that Columbus Day must now be referred to as "Indigenous People's Day." But, I'll be damned if I'm going to start calling today Aboriginal Leprechaun Day.

Definitely not as fun, but we need the win. Maybe Curry will sit, or at minimum play a short game? Need that back to heal.

Let's not F...around and lose to this undermanned Nuggets squad. Give Kuminga lots of minutes with Moody.
In 1971, the team moved across the Bay Area to Oakland, and changed its geographic name to Golden State to symbolize the team as representative of the entire state of California

I know you can only play the teams on the schedule, but it does seem like we've had a ridiculous run this year of teams missing one, two, or many (even all) of their best players.

Got to win early and have starters sit on the bench in the 4th, for tomorrow.

How are we getting this lucky with opposing stars sitting?

Just my theory but the chances of us facing Denver in a 3v6 or 4v5 is probably high. Malone might have wanted to sit out his star players so we can't collect more film and familiarity. Also just the mental edge of not losing to us before a series.

I am probably wrong.

Kuminga's going to get as much burn as his minutes restriction allows and will be a big part of why we win this game. If we win.

Not a good matchup for Post if Denver doesn't play a big.

yea isn't that obvious? Post is good against slow bigs where he can shoot outside threes. He is going to be terrible against smaller quicker defenders
