Huge game. Will be tied at 5th with MEM if we beat them. Will Ja Morant play through that injured hamstring?

EDIT: Didn't realize they'll be playing the Celtics and us on a b2b. If they lose to the Cs we'll overtake them for the 5th if we win.

Winning this game would give the Warriors the H2H tiebreaker with the Grizzlies. A Warriors win would seed the Warriors ahead of the Grizzlies in the event of a 3-way tie with the Grizzlies and the Lakers or Clippers (the LA teams would be seeded higher than the Warriors). Huge game for the Warriors to win.

Huge game indeed, this is a must win for sure.

Aside from getting the 5th seed, we probably avoid facing Denver in the 1st round as well.

Grizz are such an interesting team to end this season. I’m not sure how their injuries are looking, but if healthy they are a complete wildcard. They basically axed their gimmick offense this week because they felt it couldn’t beat the top teams and didn’t benefit their stars (even though overall it improved their offensive efficiency and pace)…. and now they switch to a coach that has historically raised the play of ultra quick PGs with fast pace and pick and rolls (their offense this year has zero pick and rolls).

It really could go either way… its either going to be not enough time for them to adapt back to higher usage of their stars… or they will keep the pace up and have a motivated Ja/JJJ/Bane and be a dangerous team. I’m hoping this change is just too late in the season and we can pass them, but I’m overall a very big fan of this coaching change for the Grizz moving forward.
