probably the biggest game of the year for me. Please win so I can tell Lakers fans to suck it
Most 4th Quarter Points in Final since 1991
1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)

They only have an outside shot at passing the Lakers since the Lakers own the tiebreaker already anyway. And the bottom line is jumping them for the #4 seed probably just means facing them anyway. An additional home game is nice, but the Warriors have hardly gotten "home cooking" treatment from the refs in Lakers games in recent years, I doubt it would make much difference.

Biggest reasons to win are one, to show they can, and two, to fend off the Wolves, Grizz, and Clips and maintain position.

Lakers have always been a tough matchup for the Warriors, but I think I like it better with Luka instead of AD in a Lakers' uni...

unless one of Minny/Clippers unexpectedly has a slide, this is a must win to avoid the playin. I dont see them beating Jokic on a back to back.

I just want the Warriors to establish some form of matchup advantage with the Lakers. Unfortunately, it looks like it has to be mini ball or bust and I hate to think of Luka and LeBron absolutely feasting in ISO matchups all game long. Love to see Kuminga healthy dominating at the rim a bit instead of us hoping Heild, Podz and Moody are on for the night.

The fix is in on this one. The league wants the Lakers in the WCF.

With Denver losing, it's not out of the question but highly unlikely, even if we run the table. Man, 3 of the last 4 losses was sooooo dumb, we could literally be sitting in 2nd already. Phi, Atl, Mia should have been wins and we'd be half a game behind Hou while playing them on Sun. Oh well, the Lakers matchup will be interesting as they 'should' have the small ball advantage but Lebron and Luka might make it tough to hid Steph on defense. If we run, play defense from jump, and make an average % of 3s, we should win this.

most "God i hope this" game of this season

also probably the most "I'm almost certain we're gonna lose" game

The over/under on Lebron and Luka getting a combined 20 FTAs is iffy. :D

That's what haunts me, so many dumbass losses to **** teams. All you have to do is show up to beat those teams, nothing heroic required, but they didn't show up. Once in a while, sure, you are going to lose to a bad team, but these Warriors have done it so many times and there are going to be consequences.

I wouldn't call it a must-win, because what happens if they lose? Which is not an improbable outcome.

But a win would be huge, that's for sure.

What I mean is that I think a loss here makes it likely that GSW will be in the play-in instead of 6 seed or better. I'm all about avoiding the play-in.

New most important game of the year. GS can fall to 8th or make LA/Den switch 3/4. for a potential 1st rd
