Yeah, I don't see any way he's not gone, unless he gets some really low-ball offer and the Dubs match for a year compensated as a bench player. You certainly can't pay him $20M, $30M+ when Kerr has made it very clear he will not play him. It's unfortunate because it seems like for several years now there has been a communication problem between Kerr and the front office (Lacob) that was never resolved. They had completely different ideas about their plans for Kuminga that were constantly out of sync. If they made a decision a year ago, they could have gotten something for him, now it looks like his value to the Warriors is close to zero, which means they are very unlikely to get anything of value for him. At this point it's better for everyone if he goes elsewhere but they blew an opportunity to extract value out of the situation.

He's getting up shots because Butler is probably going to be out for the Grizz game (no knowledge of that, just guessing) and they will need him. That said, he needs to cut like Jimmy and GP2 do and lay off the 3s. Maybe that will be a key weapon for him at some point in his career but it's not now.

Quite the opposite. Warriors dodged another Poole type contract when Kuminga didn’t take up Warriors’ offer last offseason. Dubs FO and lacob got lucky.

It's clear Kerr wants nothing to do with him.

He needs to drive to the hoop and throw it down but he's got a loose handle and bad decision-making.

There is a moral to this story. Similar to the way that it's not enough in baseball to not be a complete fat aSS who can't look at a Sarah Lee cake without wanting to make gastrointestinal love to it (half of MLB rosters, we're looking at you), it's also not enough in basketball to be an athletic freak who can jump out of the stadium.

Draymond is great on defense but he just sucks so much on offense that it pretty much negates the advantage. Especially combined with his ill-timed antics and costly turnovers.

This is on avarage against RS teams, now we could imagine what kind of result would be against only PO teams...

This was clear as day that Kuminga was f...ed after Butler trade. But this isn't only Kuminga... The hype is slowing down, opponents are adapting...How long can you go with Green at center and Butler at PF at their age? They wouldn't survive two deep PO series before going down. So you need playable shooting center. If someone thinks that Post is center of contending team, will be very disappointed - he isnt and very far from that...Also you need POA defender with good shooting...How many of them are available? These guys have gold value in NBA today...3rd scoring option? Podz??? This could be weakest 3rd scoring option from all west PO teams...

This is must have unit for Butler/Green/Curry. But opponets could still fill the paint with Green defender to close Butler driving lines or double Curry to leave Green to score. With Butler passing, I dont know that kind of value Green has on offence with this team.

Kuminga/Moody (combinations of cutting/dunking/2nd floor/shooting)
Butler (playmaker/2nd option)
Wiggs (scoring/shooting/3rd option)
Curry (playmaker/1st option)

Green for Butler had some logic. We would stay younger with better size, we woud have POA defender/scorer/shooter in one player, we would have normal 3rd and 4th scoring options. You need to fix only one (not 3) starter position in the summer - Center.

It doesn't matter what Kerr wants. Lacob wants JK here so JK will get his next contract here. Kerr has repeatedly shown that he doesn't trust JK in real games. It's happened every year and now in year 4 everyone is surprised by it?

That's what I mean about the Kerr <---> Lacob/MDJ miscommunication, or being out of sync. As you said, for so long, it's mind-boggling they have not resolved it. Have these guys not gotten in a room and had this conversation?

good one but i think a seasonal coach like Kerr would have enough bullets to back up his claim...for example JK's offensive rating and net Rating numbers , scoring efficiencies, FT%, defensive misses....it's easy ask- Lacob do you want to play JK to tank the season or not playing him to give Jimmy/Curry a chance?

Probably not too far off from the actual converation that takes place between the two but you forgot one thing:

Last night, you played *checks notes* gp2 and buddy over JK. They went a combined 4/11 in 39 minutes with 5 rebounds. Didn't you have to introduce Buddy to Steph like a few games ago and implore him to pass it to *checks notes* "the greatest shooter in the history of the game"?
