The Dubs made the playoffs?

No idea how this thing is going to go. Could be overtime, or either team could win by 30.

But I do know that in each game they need at least 1 and probably 2 players who aren't Steph or Jimmy to have a big game. That can be Podz, Moody, Hield, GP2, Post, even Loon. I would say Kuminga because I think they could really use him against the Rockets, but he appears to be in a doghouse even more locked down than Nellie's right now. But Steph and Jimmy by themselves cannot carry them to victory. In a game or two, sure, but not a whole series.

Expecting a brutal street fight and a lot will come down to how much the refs let the Rockets get away with because they will bring everything unless they're stopped. Curry is going to get mauled for sure.

If we get into a game where Steph is getting like 3 bad shots off in the first half and the Rockets aren't racking up fouls, the Dubs are in real trouble.

I expect to lose this one - Rockets are going to come out firing on all cylinders with their youth and hca and run us off the court.

We can't beat them if we don't slow the game down (what bizarro world is this)

They kind of gave us the blueprint on what they were going to do. The physicality. Holding Steph. Getting in Draymond's head. I hope we are ready for that.

I think we should try to win this one...winning 1st game on the road is just so great.

Not sure how this one turns out, but the Rockets aren't getting the tired team they got last time. With how the Rockets guard Curry and the big dudes inside that might deter Jimmy, the role players really need to have nice games for us to convert a win. I do wonder if Steve held some strategies back last meet-up or if it indeed was go all-out considering the standings.

However my heart just dropped when I checked the referee assignments -- Ben Taylor, the guy who called the phantom flagrant on Draymond and let Amen foul Curry all game long as the crew chief, is officiating. Luckily James Capers is the crew chief this time (Gediminas Petraitis is the 3rd), so hopefully he controls the game in a more reasonable fashion. Can't stand Taylor though, he's one of the worst refs in the league.

Hopefully Draymond manages to not get into the extra stuff too much, he's getting the opposite of the benefit of the doubt, especially as officials know about the recent clashes. Maybe Jimmy managed to talk some sense into him, but you know, it's Draymond. It would be awesome though if we let the Rockets be the ones to get frustrated and whistled for the extra curriculars.

They are not a fast-paced team, and I gotta think the Warriors transition defense should keep the pace down. I'm more worried about giving up second-chance buckets.

Like any game for the Warriors, attack the boards and keep TOs down.

Players other than Steph and Jimmy are going to need to play well on the road for them to have a chance.

Steph is getting some reasonable looks. Wish he was hitting, but baby steps.

They haven’t been great looks. He’s rushing currently.

If Steph will go for another 1-10 then on to Game 2. Doubt it though. But yeah he is rushing his shots.

I don’t like the way our starting lineup matches up with them

A couple of easy missed shots early on that might come back to haunt the Warriors later. In a rock fight, stuff like that missed Podz floater and that GP2 miss from close in matter so much more.
