Anyone think we either give Jimmy the night off or bring him in off the bench in a limited role (closing quarters and non-Steph minutes) like we have with Steph and others in the past?

Will Himmy be back for this? If he's not ready, rest him up.

It would be nice if this is the series game that the role players let it loose at home. It's been an odd experience seeing all of them brick outside of a few exceptions (GP and Buddy last game). Lots of guys haven't had a game to go off in from the Warriors. I know the Rockets have an elite defense, but it's still odd it hasn't happened..

yet.

I really want this series. I’m don’t think this is a championship roster but sending Houston home one more time is good enough for me this year. Everything beyond that is found money.

I think you gotta roll with Jimmy, it's a home game with the chance to go up 3-1. You don't want to be 2-2 heading back to Houston.

The Wolves are up 3-1, likely to advance. I like that Curry can line up defending either Conley or DDV where he can conserve some energy. I also like that Posts shooting and Dray off the dribble can draw Rudy away from the paint.

The Warriors path to the WCF is feasible.

You mean celebrini will do the right thing by the player.

I think we’re alright either way as long as the refs don’t let it turn into mma rather than basketball.

Normally I'd agree with you, but it heavily depends how he is. Some Rockets players are going above and beyond get extra hits in there. I don't want Jimmy to come back maybe in a physical state he can't defend himself and then get sent out for 2 weeks. It needs to be treated with caution.

Plus, there has to be a point where the others start to show up scoring wise. Outside of Jimmy, GPII, and Buddy for 1/3 games, nobody else has shown up offensively. There has to be a breaking point.

No, i mean kerr will manage his minutes if he'll playand he will see that something is fishy.

Why would he manage his minutes if he's cleared to play. If he's cleared to play that means he's fine and it's just a pain tolerance thing of which once you get your adrenaline running he's not going to complain about pain. That means Jimmy is going to play 40.

he'll likely miss this one too (2 games basically, like steph in the RS, it seems the standard minimum time for such injuries) and come back for game 5 (hopefully to to close the deal).
either way, the rest of the team better show up offensively this time. 14/45 from 3 like in the last game, considering 2 of those 14 made 3 were from GPII and other 5 from buddy, is shameful. they are due a game where they shoot well from deep and blow those thugs out of the building.

Butler's had this issue before, he seems to be able to deal with pain, if he wants to play, let him play.

If Butler can play, he should play, more limited to start, however close the 4th & Game.
We win this one, it will be 4-1 & hopefully a little rest

Seriously, don't let the Rockets off the mat. If Jimmy can go, he needs to go, all hands on deck. Great opportunity to break the Rox right now, give them any life and first it means a longer series and less rest and more minutes for injuries to accumulate, and second, they can steal it back. They might be a terrible #2 seed but you give any playoff team a chance by letting off the gas and you'll regret it.

I'm curious if the rockets will bench Amen. He was so detrimental to their offense.
