Re: Warriors vs Rockets - Game 6
we need to tighten up, man. that first quarter lethargy cant happen again. Come out strong and kick them in the 1st half so we can close this out and get closer to Jimmys 1st ring

by the way, I really dislike Amen Thompson
didn't know he was one of those stealthy dirty players. He pretends to flail and fall around but I saw him fall towards Currys path intentionally

What is this? There is no "we" in Heat. First you said you were a Heat fan who was just visiting this forum. Now, you're referring to yourself and the team as "we." WTF? That's like one of us prancing into the Lakers forum and saying "I'm with LeBron."

No more of this "we have 3 2 shots at it in the next 3 2 games" BS. Be the killer and end it or just pack up your locker and head for vacation.

As a 2nd year player he has compilation of dirty plays already. He's a dirty player.

It seemed like the team punted once they got the 3 cheap fouls to start the game and will come out focused and engaged in game 6. I fully expect to win this game.

I'm actually fine with the slow first quarter starts, just have to keep it close. It's a build up so we can finish strong in the 4th.
And please no more no Curry, no Jimmy lineups. Will probably need 40 min from these 2.

thanks, my team got sent to cancun in humiliating fashion and I have been following Jimmy since the trade
plus I've always liked Curry a lot, he's my favorite player in the NBA (im a Christian so ive always liked him, I remember the Christian verses on his shoes)
so make some room for me, i've been rooting for the dubs since the trade and I think championship is not a stretch

I for one have enjoyed the Jimmy/heat fans coming over. Nice to get different perspectives.
So welcome and here’s to jimmys first!

If they show up to play they do. But last game they did not. And on any night wierd things can happen, like Vanvleet going 8-11 from 3 except maybe next time they don't miss 40% of their free throws. They're facing a team that's trying to rip their throats out and in game 5 they clearly didn't get it. I'm still not convinced they do. Complacency kills you, eventually.

Okay. Fine. We'll let it slide. But, understand that we're an odd lot here and have strange tendencies. For instance, some of us like to start game threads with exploitative gifs of seemingly underage Asian girls.

No I think those very innocent K-Pop or whatever gifs Floppy posts are expressly meant as a counter to all of the sexist cheesecake that used to decorate our threads, making them unwelcome to women and others. There used to be a lot more T&A.

After alllll these years...I watch these games expecting the worse
Only thing Warriors can REALLY control is DEFENSE. If they come out soft and let Jalen get off early....
So come out with energy, conviction....and let's not make this a nail biter....

You're right, they can miss shots (hopefully not), but not going 100% on defense in the playoffs is inexcusable. Because the Rockets sure as hell are going 100% on defense.
If this goes back to Houston they're done. I give them maybe a 25% chance to win that game 7, but they're cooked in the next round without rest against a hungry and rested Wolves team. This has to end tonight.
