Game 26: Twolves @ Warriors 12/12 Game Thread

Was the emergence of the G-League/2nd round crew a fluke? Or will they continute to flourish? The Warriors have built some momentum and look to be firing on all cylinders. Curiously, the team has done well with some stars out so it will be interesting to see Steph potentially supercharge things.

Draymond and Al are out. I'm actually kind of excited about that, it will be interesting to see how we do with fewer Grandpas. Hopefully they do so well that Dray off the bench Iggy style becomes a consideration. Quentin Post, who is in the top 5 in defensive rating, will likely be our anchor.

Starting lineup... I'm guessing:
Curry
Melton
Moses
Butler
Post

And from Steve's interview this week, we'll see an appearance of Steph-Pat at some point. Just pray it's only 2 guards :o

I’d be surprised if Moody starts. Spencer, Hield, Will, and Podz were all ahead of him last game.

Yeah Moses was the biggest question mark for me in creating the starting 5 guess. I doubt he starts Pat or Buddy with Steph back. Podz only I think if Melton isn't starting, so to me it is Will vs. Moses. But Steve being Steve who knows, we could get 'extra shooting' :o

Post needs to be playing 30 minutes per game, especially with Al and Draymond frequently being out. We haven't had an outside shooting frontline threat like that for a long time and it's making a big difference. At 7 feet, no one is blocking his shot, and if other centers want to pull themselves out of the paint to guard him on the line to try, so much the better.

Uh oh, Pups' best player out, that spells trouble! Wouldn't be shocked if our guys are rusty either, Steph's been out a long time and everyone else hasn't played in 5 days.

I have that same bad feeling too. Vets seem to cake walk thinking they don't need to show up when other team don't have their best player on the floor.

Pat
Steph
Buddy
Butler
Post

These are the starters according to Slater. Sigh, I really shouldn't be surprised. Love you Steve but come on. Wolves are huge,we have to be on fire from 3. Only way you can play Pat and Steph is no Ant. And Buddy over Moody or Richard? Dang.

Spencer/Curry working okay. I am worried about the rotations. I hope we don’t get a lot of Podz as backup point guard.

Buddy off the floor, team runs better.

What the hell is he starting for? Just start Moody.
