And all we have to give up is Baron? I think he makes less than him too. Where do I sign?

I'm convinced that the Warriors would be worse if they had LeBron instead of Davis.
You guys should be proud to have that round little scoring machine. There's no PG in the universe that can guard that dude.

LOL, I am amused by an blurb that states that the Cavs are unable to get Baron. Of course the Cavs would love Baron. Heck, who wouldn't? But of course there is absolutely no way that they'd be able to secure him short of giving up LeBron. However, no matter what Kablooie thinks, LeBron is a much better player than Baron. Might the Warriors be better off with Davis than LeBron? Maybe, it seems that LeBron actually plays positions that the Warriors are already strong. But LeBron on a running team would be a sight to behold. I do know one thing however, the Cavs would be a much worse team with Davis and without LeBron.

I wonder what Rowell would be willing to take from Cleveland for Baron.

There's no point trying to trade Baron in-season unless another team is desperate and offering youth they refuse to be patient with, expiring money, and draft picks. The best candidates to do all of that-- and there were few to begin with-- are drifting further and further into irrelevance.
Cleveland had and has little of interest on these counts and should not be dealt with directly by the Warriors.

Deluding oneself that Baron Davis even remotely equates to LeBron James-- for trade purposes or any other-- is perhaps the most ridiculous case of irrational fan behavior I have ever witnessed. On that note, loathing the very existence of one's teams' star player may be equally irrational to the common irrational fan. Can't argue with that.
But it doesn't change the fact that thinking Baron Davis could or SHOULD get you LeBron James is just plain dumb.

Did you really think that's what he was saying? Did you really not get that post? For a bright guy you can be kinda dense sometimes.

I think my original post sums the matter up in far more reasonable terms. Involving LeBron James' name at all is completely unnecessary in all ways because it is just THAT irrelevant.
Chris Mullin and most around the league would not even mention that name if and when he has discussed or will discuss trades with Cleveland. Baron Davis has been mentioned in more than one scenario, on the other hand. Now, if Cleveland had some expiring contracts, we could get into the much more loaded and pertinent debate about why it can be argued that is all Baron Davis is worth now.
EDIT: Again.

If no LeBron for Baron.
We will take expiring and Cleveland's next 20 1st rounders... unprotected.
You statisfy. You got your wish, no LeBron in the Baron trade. Deal?
