Have you ever said what your problem is with him? He slept with your girlfriend or what?

Quioted "Defense"

I have no issue with him. He makes nice plays, can shoot, etc..

Personally, I think his D is suspect at times; he doesn't have the quickness (biceps holding him down), but not bad for an 8th man.

First off, this is my first post, but not my first time reading. This dang board wouldn't let me in for the longest time. (probably saved me a lot of time, anyways).

There should be no complants about Buke. He is the perfect 7th, 8th, or 9th man. He rebounds well for a 2, shoots well from 3, and pretty well overall, especially for a 2. He is even keel on the court, and he doesn't pack heat off the court. He is on a good contract, and should resign for a modest amount. If he doesn't, it is because some other schmuck gm is wasting money, which wouldn't be a surprise.

He should not be a starter because of his D, and shouldn't be counted on for 15 a night. His set shot three can be a weapon because he can hit it cold, straight from Nellie's beer tub.

That is my favorite thing about him... that what he brings, he brings ice cold right off the bench. Also, he doesn't seem to be affected by team mood. If he is off, it's because he is off, not because he has caught it from the team. I like that in a bench player. You bring them in when starters are struggling. If bench players always struggle whenever the team struggles, then it doesn't help you to bring them in.

On the flipside, I can't understand what Barnes is doing. He is on a contract year, and he is killing himself. God bless the dead, that must be weighing on him.

But why is dude hosting a party every Friday and Saturday night at Boss in The City? He should be working on his game, or resting, every free moment he gets. Gilby would be jacking up a thousand shots a night if he were healthy. Mully and Mitch would be shooting all night, even if it weren't a contract year. It is very short sighted to make a G a night making a guest appearance at the club, when he could be our solid 6th man with 20-25 starts and a decent payday next offseason.

He will turn it on towards the end of the year, as all do during a contract year (Baron and Monta are doing it all year because they want more than the mid-level), but we sure could use him now!
