When Dunleavy comes back to Oakland well boo him again again and again.
Why do Toronto fans boo Carter?
One of the articles states that how can the fans boo Dunleavy but cheer for Foyle and says Dunleavy was a better player. That cant be serios question.
All Dunleavy ever did was complain and annoy everyone.
Remember that 1 quote when he said if your going through hell might as well keep going. Dude you sucked, Atleast Foyle gave to the community and was a great locker room presence. Dunleavy is a wreck nothing more.
Knick fans boo there whole team why?
When a certain player builds so much hate critizem needs to be givin.

Dunleavy deserved the boos.
He was a little spoiled bitch when he was here, and then proceeded to question the basketball knowledge of Warriors fans as soon as he was traded to Indiana.

Mike Dunleavy. He can eat a

I think Dunleavy deserved the boos, too.
But...
I don't know why, but I was feel bad for him a little bit.

I think the perfect opposite of this will be when J Rich comes back. He is going to get a huge ovation. I think a big part of it is the perceived effort that a player displays. Dunleavy often walked, talked and played like a bitch so he got treated like one. J Rich may have had his faults but he always played hard and never blamed his teammates, coaches or the fans for his shortcomings.
Edit: I just read the Monte Poole article. He is completely on point.

Dunleavy just came off as a loner...a pouting guy who would blame others....a wimp. He couldn't post up a guy 6' but he routine let others run over him. The frustration of watching a guy try to hide in important situations...then play it off with a "I could care less" attitude was EXTREMELY painful. He's got a bit of Kobe in him as far as negative charisma....
Having said that...I would not have booed the guy beyond the introduction. My frustration comes from WANTING him to do better....not hating him.
If you want to put Dunleavy in a category...put him right next to Joe Barry Carrol....a guy with talent and seemingly no heart.....

To be fair to Dunleavy, people overrated him since the beginning and he's been carrying unreal expectations the day he stepped onto the NBA court. He is by far the most criticized Warrior during his time here and I would be pissed too if I were him.
Sure, he could take the high road ala Foyle but honestly I don't know why he would care, as he puts it, since he's been rubbed right in his face countless time by the fans, writers, columnists, your sisters, your sisters' in-laws, and possibly even his teammates behind his back.

Dunleavy didn't deserve the Boo's; he deserved pummeling and drop kicks.
Boos are an appetizer.

He was, is and always will be a bitch.
Did anyone see the sequence at the end of the Indiana game where Tinsley took the shot and bricked...Dunqueefy went over to him after the play, right in front of the camera and was trying to tell Tinsley that he should have passed him the ball. Tinsley gave him a look of pure disgust and waived him off.
I would effing hate playing with Dunleavy

Respect is earned, not given... when its always someone elses fault, you deserve no respect.
If your a 1st round pick of a team, especially a lotto pick, the team WANTS to love you... but not once was it "I need to step up my game" or "I've not played up to where I should be"... it was whining about aspects of the game, or the fans...
Gimme a break... Dun's got a ton of basketball talent and the personality of a spoiled, silver-spoon fed prick... I would have had no problems cheering for the guy had he just owned up to his own poor production, regardless of how hard he was trying... if us booing him was really the problem, why piss us off even more? He's either stupid or looking for someone to cast blame upon...
Either way he's found a nice fit in Indiana

Good for him. I guess they are true fans that he respects.

Just another example of when the Warriors get a high pick, the draft class sucks.

Good point about Dun, but tell me--and I'm not doing this just to pick a fight-- but couldn't these exact words be applied to POB?
He gets more excuses made for him than anyone on our team, yet he's done nothing to earn respect and therefore minutes on this team.
That's not to say that he isn't young and raw and all that, but just looking at the facts, he's done nothing to warrant any PT. Why should we treat him with kid gloves when assessing how much he can help us now?

He doesn't have to... Mullin did it.
Mullin drafted him #9 overall. When you invest a lottery pick in someone, regardless of their perceived attitude problems, you give them some burn. Im well aware that Mullin drafted him before Nellie got here - but name one coach in the league that would be benching a 7' 22 year old w/ the length O'Bryant has for DJ Mbenga? Austin Croshere?
Dunleavy PLAYED his way out of favor for the Warriors. Because we had no other options - Dun was a good player but he just has zero resilience. You can get him off his game good and easy. He had respect - it faded away.
POB was never given that. He has logged 187 minutes in the course of 1.5 seasons. Its not that he hasn't actually produced in his garbage time minutes either...
But he pouts in practice? Forget it. Apparently 7', long C's with midrange touch and good defensive timing grow on trees. Those kinds of players aren't necessary for championships...
There's no rationalizing it... if he was really this poor, TRADE HIM. Don't sap his trade value to nothing... if we dealt him last year, we could just say he wasn't a "Nellie" pick... recoup some value, and move on. Instead we make his value that of an expiring... POB and Dun are two complete opposite sides of the spectrum.

That was one of the worst draft classes in recent history.
POB
Sene
Redick
H.Armstrong
Sefolosha
Brewer (the guy we should have picked)
C.Simmons
Rodney Carney
These were the guys picked 9-16...how much time are they getting? How much could they be traded for? You already have seen what Cedric Simmons was dealt for.
No more apologies for POB. The guy is not a player. Rather than looking at every other possible reason about who to blame, just blame him for not being good enough to get on the court.

Ok so because Carney/Simmons were busts, Redick is a scrub and the others are either long term projects (Sene, Sefolosha) we should just assume that POB is?
Blind faith in management... the Warriors love your money.
I cant believe anyone could fall for this crap... stubhub and craigslist are full of 510's season tickets... buy them now before a more delusional fan beats you to them!
BTW... Simmons was a reach... a complete and total reach by a team that needed a PF/C... dunno what your problem with Hilton is though. You expect him to log heavy minutes in front of Chandler and West? The guy's a good backup... Simmons was an undersized PF. Huge difference... but honestly Nick, I'm wasting my time even responding to you... you compare things that have nothing to do with one another, and they'd appear even logical to a fan with no legitimate basketball knowledge...
I can't for the life of me understand why Seattle picked up Sene's option.. its been 1.5 seasons for the project C... cut him!
