Jackson out for 2 games

According to Nellie this morning:

Jackson got his toe stepped on and will probably miss a couple of games. It was the type that splits the nail and was a bloody mess.

Hopefully Branden can move up the bench list abit.

This most likely means more PT for Barnes and Pietrus.

Fortunately it happens in the midst of a really soft stretch in terms of opponents. And let's hope he's able to use this to rest his legs and get his shot back in a few days when he returns.

Wha?? We'll really gonna miss his 6-19's.

Jax had a toe injury last year and it bothered him for the remainder of the season.

He's tough so lets hope he can gut it out after resting for a few.

I'd really love to see us give significant minutes to the rook. But I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

 i was thinking the same thing. i mean, we'll miss his leadership, but his D and offense has been horrible as of late and i think the warriors could have done better some games with jackson sitting.

the problem is when he tries to take over a game, he messes up too much. his main shot should be a catch-and-shoot, but when he dribbles and all that he ends up with a lot of TO's and missed buckets. as was the problem in the end of the fourth quarter against the pacers. he had two catch-and-shoot three's, one of which went in and the previous one went in and out. when he put the ball on the floor the other like 4-5 shots, he ended up with a miss; and he ends up with a lot of TO's forcing the ball when he gets stuck in the air.

and like a lot of you guys, i'm hoping the younger ones get some time whomever it may be.

As bad as he's been shooting, he does hit timely threes. And has hit some big ones in recent wins.

If the team can win with him resting, it will be huge from a mental standpoint for the rest of the year.

He's been playing like ****, so maybe he does need a few games off.

I was being a little facetious. Jack wins more games than he loses for us but has been particularly bad the last couple of weeks. When he's under control we win 60% of our games. I Hust hope we don't revert to the way we were at the beginning of the season when we didn't have him. Hopefully some of the other guys have matured a bit like Monta, Pietrus and the rest. Let's also hope that this gives some of our other wing players an opportunity to show something so that when he gets back they can still get some minutes. Although our bench seems to have gotten better, we still could use some more depth if we want to be successful over the long haul. Probably a good time for Jack to get some rest and maybe take a look at his game and his overall impact on the team.

Time for Pietrus, Azubuike and CJ to step up...I don't know if I going to be able to sleep tonight, I'm so excited about possibly seeing our D leaguers and French Trainwreck dominate the bulls.

Yeah, you really hate to see our bench do well. Sad. Label them what you want, but they are basketball players. The fact that you let where they came from impact your view of them speaks volumes. Jeez, Monta was a crappy second round pick. No wonder he sucks.

A 2 day benching... he deserves it. I'm glad they didn't call it flu-like symptoms... that excuse was tired

When did the injury occur? Yesterday's game or was it a lingering injury from before? At least there won't be any 5 on 4s because the other guy is complaining for a foul call.

I laughed out loud at this one.

Loyal, I don't think you've missed ONE opportunity to make a sarcastic or backhanded remark about POB's lack of PT. I applaud you for it. Persistence is a key to success. Something I am not practicing at work right now...so funny though. I was waiting to see what you'd say on this one and you didn't let me down.

Great more mins for Pietrus. Baron will play 48 mins cus Nellie will be afraid to sit him without Jack out there, and we'll still lose. this is horrible.
