CWeb to the Warriors and Knicks highlights got quite a bit of time on sportscenter this morning.
Mission accomplished.

Yeah the coverage is huge right now.
Guaranteed that the networks will be happy when the Warrior games come up.

Nellie wants to win now. What a chump.
Lets bring back Eric Musselman, that guy wanted to win tomorrow.

I think Webb probably can help us win. I also thing Wright can probably help us win.
But I do find it interesting that yet again when we make a move, it's one that has more than a little curb appeal.
No to PJ, no to KT, no to any multi-year deals in exchange for Pietrus, but yes to a guy with a media angle and marketing cache.
Nellie and Mully are swimming upstream. What they've accomplished under these circumstances is admirable.

The whole interview just shows that Nellie's concern is to win now, he doesn't give a

about the future of the franchise... relishing in the attention of the Webber ordeal, speaking so candidly about it... He did his job now get him out of here...
play making is a big part of the game. i dont see how he is ruining the future. Wright can play in Las Vegas next summer, we arent trading him. POB is gonna go elsewhere. id welcome Webber with open arms simply because he can help. the attention hed get on the post would open soo many shots and drives for our squad. open looks for our players is another teams nightmare. Webber is an extremely smart passer when it comes to bigs.
plus hed be getting around 20-25 mpg. all the other players minutes will go down (Biedrins, Barnes, Al) but production will remain the same.

What does it accomplish though? At the very least we should have given Wright a chance to prove that signing Webber was unnecessary - Nellie's basically said the reason Wright doesn't play is because he can't pass... what?! I didn't realize Pietrus and Barnes were good passers...
Nellie's lying through his teeth as usual... Wright can't spread the opposing defense, thus he won't play...
He's hindering the future, not ruining it (although, he is possibly ruining it

)... the only time he gives Monta the reins to the offense is when he throws every D-Leaguer and waiver wire guy he has on the court with him...
Monta the PG, Wright, and POB have little chance while Nellie's around... maybe Nellie is just hanging on to Wright for Smart... who knows.

Ridiculous.

why must you want Monta to be a point guard? hes a scorer, like ive said the second best scorer in the state of California behind Kobe. id much rather Monta look to score than look to pass.

You mean like a scoring PG?

With Monta's mid-range jumper being almost automatic, he should shoot twice as much as anyone else.

Reggae you're mixing Wright and O'Bryant with Pietrus and Barnes.
Nellie's only willing to play Pietrus and Barnes, but he think's Webber would be better. I agree that Webber is a better option than Pietrus and Barnes at the power positions.
But if you're argument is Wright and O'Bryant instead of Pietrus, Barnes, or Webber then I have to agree with you.
But Nellie won't play Wright and Obee so they don't count in this situation.
It only counts who Nellie will actually play.
Webber > Barnes/Pietrus PF/C

I dont see Webber playing the 4 at all for Nellie...You really think Don wants to slow down the tempo? No no no...Webber's strictly a 5 here..and there's even questions at to if he can keep us playing that position..Forward for the warriors? No way Jose.

I'm hoping it's Al and Webber or Beans and Webber. or Beans and Al.

I dont know how much webber is really going to slow the team down. Throw the outlet to ellis and watch him go.
