GREAT WIN! Everyone seemed to be playing within themselves, and no one stunk it up. Warriors shot 52% from the field against a good defensive team. Monta had NINE boards, Jack was money. Contributions from a lot of guys. We even saw a little Wright.

Can I hate on CJ Watson? :D

So much props to the solid 6 tonight (and an honorable mention to BWright). So so so good.

And yeah, of course you stick with Barnes in there. Stay with what's working, and especially because he worked so well on those CP3 switches. Best game of the season without a doubt. Both teams played damn damn damn well, and the Dubs come out on top. This seriously made my week.

We had a really hard start and also played the most games in the shortest time, a little over a week ago we had played up to 5 games more than many other teams and at least 2 more than most teams.

I actually feel this year we've been a better team on the road than at home, let's hope we can maintain this energy at home in the next month.

Honestly, who gives a crap?

Marco isn't NBA ready, and Obee is not going to be a Warrior next year.

Great win! This is the best all-around game I've seen from the dubs this season. Let's see if we can carry that energy into the second half of the season.

PS: If we played at this level against sub .500 teams, we could build a big enough cushion to get wright, beli, and pob some playing time.

How screwed up did the NBA get during the Shaq era that people who get paid for this looked at David West and though "Small Forward"???

Payton is the perfect mentor/coach for Tay.

Payton in his prime was one of my favorite players. I'm not sure if he's a mentor, though. He's so competitive, he'd probably be trying to beat Monta out. Payton was a better defender than Monta, Monta a better scorer. Several times in his career, GP averaged almost nine assists a game. I don't know if Monta can get 8 or 9 APG during a season. But AI can get 9 APG and I don't want him as my PG either.

That tip in from Wright is exactly why he should play.

Monta with the touches and possessions Baron has would easily go for 7 assists at least right now.

ESPN showed some quick highlights of the game during the halftime show. Half of the highlights were of the Hornets, the rest Baron.

Walton thinks Jack should be starting SF for the West All Stars

Stephen A thinks BD should be on the roster

Walton doesn't like CWebb deal

I like Larry Brown but he'd be a terrible match for the Warriors personnel.

Don't be a ROWELL.

Tonight is not the night for you to fight this battle. Monta played like a solid PG tonight. Let those of us without hate ;) enjoy it.

Nit pick some other night.

I won't say "easily." He would still have some stinky nights at PG right now. But, another year down the road (Baron isn't going anywhere for a pay cut) and Monta is definitely on pace to be ready to run a team.

Anyone arguing that he's ready now is a little tipsy. Anyone saying he's not going to get there is stone drunk.

Payton's a ton smarter than this board gives him credit for... he didn't have a problem sitting behind 'white chocolate'... give me a break...

Its an ideal situation..

And I guess I'm a little tipsy

Fair enough. Monta was great tonight. And never forget, I love the guy, my favorite Warrior, The Future (with Biedrins)... Barnett was even talking about future All-Star berths for Monta tonight.

There are going to be a number of good, big PGs in the draft this year though. I hope the Warriors nab one... especially since they're not going to be able to find a good big at the end of the first round.
