#1 most important skill in NBA basketball is passing...Webber's one of the all-time great passing PF's ...I'm getting pumped....

His knee issues are well known, and I'm sure he won't be gliding up and down the court...

but for the most part he looks to be in shape.

I'm sorry guys, I just don't see Chris Webber working for you guys. The running game doesn't suit him. He doesn't have the knees to run up and down for the next 35 or so games plus playoffs. He doesn't fit with your offence, the offence completely changes with him in your lineup. And he is NOT your man. This is a failed experiment. I watched him play in Philly lots of games when he was on Philly, and for his limited mobility, he really impressed me. For a guy that couldn't move well or run, he was very proficient. But still, he struggled to move and keep up with guys. If you guys had gotten the Chris Webber of the Sacramento days in the early 2000's, you guys would have a legitimate shot now of winning the west. But that's not the C Webb you acquired. I'm sorry for your guys sake that you guys got him.

Chris Webber was completely misused in Philadelphia. Of course everyone there thought he was going to be Chris Webber in his prime.

I am excited to see this happen already. He's going to add another element to our offense.

Nellie already asked Chris to be the last person down the break. He's gonna play QB from the other side.

The passing ability is gem to the Warriros....

c-webb's still got the jumper working for him, maybe we can run pick & pop plays for him?

You're right Dan. He was supposed to be part of the 1-2 punch with AI but because of his age and diminishing skillset, he couldn't carry the load that he was expected to.

The expectations here for him are not very great: just 15-20 minutes a game, no great impact on the scoring load is needed as was with Philly (was expected to dominate on offense along with AI) and defensively, no great expectations there either (he'll usually have help whereas he was expected to provide the help in Philly). Besides no none on our teams plays much D anyways (lol) so he fits right in in that respect.

In addition, he will not be demanding the ball which will also make it easier on him as well as the team.

Another big difference: Philly was paying him 20 Mil a year and we're paying him only a half million so there will be little or no pressure on him I think it's a good situation for both him and the Warriors.
