I'd do that in a heartbeat. Memphis wouldn't dream of it.

IF Memphis would agree to this trade that would be a miracle, but I'd do it if they accepted.

i think shipping out barnes would be somewhat of a mistake. hes a pretty good chemistry player and he seems like he gels the team together.

id do petey, obee and part of the TP for him.

petey/obee 2nd rounder for miller
tp for a 2nd rounder

i dont remember if we can send the tp of draft picks. if we cant

petey obee cro + future 1st rounder for miller
tp for warrick.

starting 5

ab
al
sjax
monta
diddy

bench (in order 6-12)
miller
webber
barnes
watson
bukie
wright
belinelli
inactive: perovic

not bad... i think we could make a champion run barring the lakers dont get anyone else...

We can't combine the TE with players.

Miller straight up for the exception works if it's a salary dump they're after. We'd have to cut somebody though - Austin?

Petey and POB for him? Maybe?

Petey + POB aren't enough to match salary I'm afraid.

Yep let's give up our future cap flexability for a couple no D small forwards..

Devil's Advocate time:

I wonder what Miller's D would look like on a Nellie squad. One thing in his favor is that he already has the kind of endurance and desire to run that Nellie wants.

It's not impossible for players to improve their D if they buy into Nellieball. Al improved his. I've liked Miller since his Florida days.

Btw, if we keep our future cap flexibility, what are we going to do with it?

my fear is that if memphis completes another salary dump, they might have enough cap room to those $18-20 million at andris AND monta. we could be in the position of overpaying to keep both, or letting one go and overpaying to keep the second.

losing andris or monta this offseason would qualify as horrible.

So far, other teams have gotten away with saying they will match any offer, and the other owners have backed off.

Of course this is the Warriors karma we're talking about, so I expect every team with cap space to offer the max to both.

At this point I don't think I want Miller. He's getting paid to a big salary and he isn't going to put us over the hump. Besides doesn't Miller remind anybody of a certain Italian gunner we have already? Miller is bigger but he doesn't play very big anyways. I think in a year or two Belinelli will be a starter and so what would our team look like with Beli, Jax and Miller as starters or fighting for two spots?

What's Miller making? I thought it was around 6 or 7 annually...

Miller makes more than Stephen Jackson and less than Al Harrington to be infinitely better than both offensively and defend better than average for a well above-average NBA shooter.

He rebounds more than both, though not always better than either, and passes well to good statistical effect, too. He's a better than average NBA player who shoots the 3 better than anyone on the Warriors' roster.

I hate him with a passion, though, and like our boys much better.
He figures to move in the next two-three weeks but not to us.

If we could trade Harrington for Miller and go small ball for real I would give it a try but Harrington, Miller and Jax starting makes me nervous. Who am I kidding though, not even Nellie knows who he is going to start until an hour before each game.

Other than Miller being a +50% fg shooter and a +40% 3ball shooter, and a decent rebounder? Um . . . no not really.

Miller is a pure shooter. He has been since he came in the league. The fact that he can put the ball on the floor a little, and likes to handle more than a Steve Kerr type doesn't make him a gunner. Miller and Belli are only similar in that Miller's defense would be almost as bad.

Miller would be awesome on the Warriors and probably as big, if not bigger impact that Gasol will have on the Lakers.

Use the TE and buy out Croshere.

HoopsHype has him making 27m over the next 3...

Whoops :o

Too expensive...

I thought his contract was shorter, there is no way the Warriors are interested in him then. He would be a good fit and a difference maker.
