1. Andris Biedrins .316
2. Monta Ellis .193
3. Baron Davis .173
4. Stephan Jackson .164
5. Al Harrington .113
Pietrus is .71 over his last 10..I wonder if he's ever been in positive territory over a 10 game stretch before

...No seriously..MP's had a lot of energy out there on D lately.
Azubuike just plain sucks..1 game...10 games...2 seasons
Biedrins has been on fire...Nice move Nellie going small for that long stretch of the 4th Q last night
Why didnt the warriors just lock Biedrins up in October?

Dumb fricken bastards

Pietrus was our best player again last night according to +/-. That anyone brings up this stat anymore shows their lack of basketball IQ.

Let me ask all of you a couple of questions. Do you believe that the + & - stats show the real value of a player on a team? Are they accurate stats?
If your a good player on a bad team you will have a high minus, if your on a good or average team the player will have a lower minus or low plus.
I looked at every team to make sure my question was logical.
Does it all depend on the minutes played and wins or loses?

I don't give much credence to +/\ but I will say one thing for Pietrus last night, he might have been the best player defensively yesterday. Where he suck was his offense (but so did a number of other "more prominent" players). The only other guy whose defense wasn't terrible was Webber (but only plaed 13 minutes. Even Biedrins was not at his best (outside of his rebounding). They were lucky to have one guy out there at any given time who was playing any serious defense.

+/-/MIN is the best basketball stat of all-time....Nothing else comes close...In fact, NBA players should earn their salary's through the +/- stat...It would make for great team basketball throughout the league...Intstead only certain teams moving the ball and playing team D.
I'm surprised how many don't understand how to interpet the stat...Let's just hope you don't vote for who is going to be the future leader of the free world.

This aint hockey LF (1 point means something). I thought we all had a long discussion of the pros and cons on it. What about if you're on a team whose coach plays everyone out of position, and particularly puts you in the game with the wrong mix? Think might affect some peoples +/-? Of all people, you called me a Brandon hater, I think I can call you a Nellie hater (I don't particularly like Nellie, but I don't hate him and I do respect him in certain areas). You would think that you realize that coaching can have a tremendous impact on a player's +/- rating and certainly does on a team such as ours where we have at least a quarter to a half of eachgame screwed up and unorthodox lineups.

Ok LF, we're cool. I think.
You do get what I said about these screwy lineups and how they can impact the +/- ratings? Maybe they have more meaning on a "normal" team (a team not run by Nellie).

Stupid Nellie. WTF was he thinking? In critical 4th Qtr minutes he plays Jackson, Pietrus and Barnes, what a frontline. No wonder Joe Smith was torching us. I was cussing at Nellie on the TV the whole 4th.

He should of put Webber in for 1 4min Web-AB15 4th Q stretch...Instead he stuck with a Barnes-Harrington-Jackson frontline for most of the 4th...Put the nail in our coffin.
+/- stat has flaws...Of course...But it's still the #1 basketball stat available....What a great league it would be if the players were going for team results only.

Top NBA two player combo's from the last 10 games:
1. Nash-Bell
2. Bosh-Calderon
3. Biedrins-Ellis (combined age of 43?)
4. A. Parker-Calderon
5. Jackson-Biedrins
6. Bell-Stoudemire
7. Davis-Biedrins
8. A. Parker-Moon
9. Jackson-Ellis
10. Pierce-Rondo
Notes:
I eliminated Bynum because he's injured and his last 10 were weeks ago...But damn was that kid dominating

..Lakers could win 4 straight titles.
A. Parker has an amazing history with +/- numbers...The kid is starting to do what he did last season in leading the raps in +/- by far.
