Rem needs new pants.

As for JO for Wright... we couldnt do that, could we? If we trade for JO, that means Al has to go for salary purposes, and most likely Pietrus, and Barnes. Now even with as much contempt I have for Barntrus, they are better options than Croshere and Buke.

Not only that, JO's injury prone status means a lot of backup PF time... which would still be Croshere.

I can't imagine a JO deal having legs at this time... to be frank we really don't need a trade, we just need to hope all players stay and Nellie starts ditching smallball chuckfests on more than a temporary basis.

I havent been this excited about the team since the Murphleavy trade...

I think JO is a bad fit, plus two years left on his contract makes resigning Ellis and Biedrins nearly impossible.

I would swing for Artest for the TE.

Trades are still being reported, so it may take a while before we hear anything.

I doubt anything has taken place with the Warriors.

Pietrus would be the only trade I think that still might happen. I think everything else floating out there makes our future cap situation bleak.

Juan Dixon was traded according to the Raptors board, but BC can't say for who, yet. I have no idea why.

That's a pretty harsh indictment of Bargs.

I'm sure the W's are now kicking themselves for not doing a deal since Biedrins is going to out for about a month or so...We should of dealt MP and second rounder for Gerald Green. Gerald Green I think Gerald Green could of flourished under an up tempo system like the W's and Nelly.

Damn I'm going to be pissed if Cwebb and Croshere gets more minutes and Bwright or Perovic doesn't see any increased playing time.

I want the W's to do something like sign another D-leaguer like Rod Benson if Nelly continues and chooses NOT to play the rooks!!!!!!

Cuban expects Fazekas to sign with another team, and don't be surprised if Golden State and coach Don Nelson claim him off waivers.

Then who gets cut?

http://www.star-telegram.com/sports/story/486390.html

I don't think Biedrins will be out that long. And anyway who were we going to trade for a backup center, and which one of any worth was available?

Webb will certainly play good minutes. Croshere will play a lot more if his back doesn't start acting up again. I don't know if this means we'll see more Wright - he doesn't play center does he? But I'd bet we'll be seeing more POB, maybe more Kosta. I think POB is ahead in that rotation though.

If Benson gets signed, who gets cut?

I expect status quo, with the backup centers moving up one spot in the rotation.

I'm not exactly known as a POB homer, and I have no problem with bring Brandan along slowly.... but I would still rather see some POB in place of Cro/Webb at C, and some Brandan in place of Cro at PF.

I don't know who 4 Toes is, but I swear Ericka Dampier popped into my head when I read it.

Warriors did not make a deal....and I think unless they got Elton Brand for POB...it was good they didn't...

Warriors are a fun competitive team NOW...but by next year or the year after the Spurs and Suns and Dallas will be on the decline and the Warriors will be peaking with all their young talent.

Trade deadline grades came out from Yahoo sports.

Like every national reporters out there... they still do not know GSW exist in the NBA. They left our Dubbs out of the report all together (again)... :banghead:

Cap'n Jax still has the 4 toes innit?

Dunno why GS would be graded on a trade.. we didnt make any.

The name I'm waiting on is Elson.. if the Sonics buy him out, which is very likely, we ought to make a run for him. He's not great, he's not terrible, but he'll keep Croshere off the floor.

I think that's what Jose Canseco called Will Clark a few years back. Or was it a 3 toed sloth?
