Oh yeah, best believe we are a threat. No one wants to play us in the playoffs because of our style and especially if the dubs get into a little hot streak. We have showed we can play with the best of them, just not consistent enough. Growing pains I guess.
I would love for us to see Phoenix in the first round. It would be a fun series, win or lose. It surely would be tough to beat them, but I can see it happening. One thing we do against the Suns, that a lot of others don't is let Mr MVP play some D. They can't seem to hide him as much because of all our scorers we have on the team. Plus w/ Marion gone, they have lost a lot of defense IMO.
Lets just hope we can make the playoffs though, cause the road sure got tougher with J Kid going to Dallas.

Cohan should bump ticket prices quitely at the break and then kick the season ticket drive into high gear for the whole second half of the season while everyone is fat and happy.
The balance sheet and projections will be off the charts. As long as we hold playoff position, Ellison might pull the trigger this summer.

Yes, he was turned down previouslty. However, now his name on the building, and the majority owner has a $160Million tax liability. Things change.
Ellison didn't buy the naminig rights just for kicks. He still wants the team.

$119Mil
Forbes valued it at $309mil in December (before Monta became the best player in the league) It's probably worth $335 or so now (wild guess at the value of Monta's deal)

I don't remember exactly, but the article I read said something like $125-$150 Mil . . . and he had already lost the case so it'snow a matter of appeal/payment plan.
Cohan cashing out seems like a necessity, or at least selling portions of ownership to other parties to raise some capital. Of course, he'll probably forget to pay the taxes on the capital gain as well.
Ok, get off the computer now guys. Go squeeze your squeeze, or find a singles bar and get some strange. It's valentines day, quit being dorky loners and come up from the basement for air and some nookie.
If there are any hot ladies lurking on the board, Happy Valentines Day!
