Getting into the crucial stretch here.
Feb
Fri 29 vs Philadelphia (W) Can't be losing these kinds of games

March
Sun 02 vs Portland (L) - Aldridge goes 20/15
Tue 04 @ Atlanta (W) - Revenge win. Josh Smith will bump his head on the arena ceiling trying to get a payback Jam on Wright. High5 will talk trash, but it's only 2 points.
Wed 05 @ Charlotte (W) Will the helmet impact Gerald Wallace's court vision?
Fri 07 @ Miami (W) Baron recruits Matrix to sign a league min deal next year in exchange for an introduction to Alba
Sat 08 @ Orlando (?) Dre day? If so, we win. if not, Dwight scores 100.
Wed 12 vs Toronto (W) Wright will victimize Bosh with another inspector gadget dunk on his way to his first double double
Thu 13 @ Phoenix (L) Nellie will overuse Webb thinking Shaq is the right mathcup to feature him. Those two will have a nice conversation on the opposite end of the court from whatever is happenning, and Pheonix will capitalize on Baron's frustration.
Sat 15 vs Memphis (W) lol
Tue 18 @ Sacramento (W) ROFL
Wed 19 @ LA Clippers (L) We can't win in LA
Fri 21 vs Houston (W) Must win, and Jack will have healthy feet by then
Sun 23 @ LA Lakers (L) Can't win in LA
Mon 24 vs LA Lakers (L) Can't beat the Lakers
Thu 27 vs Portland (W) Not losing 3 in a row
Sat 29 @ Denver (W) f :censored: Denver
Sun 30 vs Dallas (L) letdown game after beating Denver.

10-6-?

45-28 If we win the Dre Day game (or pickup any of the losses I have slated) we end March at .616 and on pace for 51 wins which possibly ends up the 6 seed or at worst 7th.

44-29 If we lose the question mark game, and that puts us behind the 8ball with 10 games to go at .602 on pace for 49 wins which is probably the 8 spot but could very well be off the board if Denver or Houston doesn't implode

We really need to go 11-6 through March to have any level of comfort heading into april with 3 of our remaining 9 games being against San Antonio, Dallas and Phoenix, all of whom will actually have something to play for this year, as opposed to how they layed down last year.

Big games to be playing without Dre. Baron and Jack have to get their D in high gear. They have to realize that Monta can carry the portion scoring load that they might not have to offer with increased energy on the defensive end. But we need better perimeter defense with no Dre to have their back. That's what it's going to take. We need high energy mayhem on D and we need to be feeding Monta a ton of easy fastbreak points.

did he get that nickname from the Bobcats game??? Cause there was one dunk where he went up up and away (similar to Inspector G with the helicopter out of the hat)

We're gonna have to beat the Blazers, and IMO we can crank out a win vs. LAL and we'll destory the Clips.

I just can't wrap my head around the possibility of a 6 game win streak with Dre out. We have to lose to somebody, and the Blazers play the kind of game that we're succeptible to - ball movement & execution with a competent big.

and IMO we can crank out a win vs. LAL

Homer is that you? [in my best Marge simpson voice]
Not happenning. Haven't they won every game since gettin Pau? We aint beating no Lakers in LA.

and we'll destory the Clips.
It's Baron's last trip home until we play the Lakers in the playoffs. He'll be hung over, or he'll have spent his mojo banging Westwood snatch.

I got 11-6. I agree that that's the minimum we need to get through this stretch. Even without Yao, Houston's cake schedule gets them to 50 for the year. So, we must match that (and beat them in our last matchup for the tie break).

And Fitz stole it from SportsCenter, but they were using it for AK47. That was a long time ago, though.

I say we beat the Suns away, but then lose to the Grizz at home.

You guys reall believe we hace a 6 game win streak in us without Dre?

I think we have to accept a loss to Portland or Atlanta again (yuck.)

Cro won't be on fire every night, and Nellie might play Webber.

Six games would be our longest streak of the year wouldn't it?

What has been our longest streak? I don't think we've won more than 4 in a row yet have we?

I don't see us winning an away game until Dre is back and de-rusted. Maybe Charlotte. Maybe.

No way we win 6 in a row. It's going to be a rough couple weeks without Goose. I still think we go 11-6 but in a slightly different fashion. Once Dre is back and Jackson grows up a little then we're back.

Yeah, I think a lot of people weren't looking at their schedule when they were writing off the Rox after Yao went down.

And I think you guys are sleeping on Toronto a little right now; they're playing really really good as of late, and it'll be a very tough game even if Dre is back.

Finally, this is looking a little ahead of just this next month, but it's time to start thinking about tie-breakers with the other 8 playoff contenders out West.

Team / Record / Games Remaining
LA ...... 1-1 ......... 1H & 1A
PHX .... 2-0 ......... 2A
SA ...... 2-0 ......... 1A
DAL .... 0-2 ......... 1H & 1A
NOH .... 1-1 ........ 1A
HOU .... 2-1 ........ 1H
UTA .... 0-3 ......... none left (thank God)
DEN .... 1-1 ........ 1H & 1A

So the Warriors are a total of 9-9 against those teams (solid), but of the 11 games left only 4 are at home. :banghead: San Antonio and LA are more or less locks, but I can't say the same about anyone else. All those games are gonna be beyond huge (ginormous?).

I got 9-7, we'll get up for the big games, and let down for the easy ones unless our bench steps up and puts teams to sleep. We will most likely get in position for the 8th seed and play the Lakers in the opening round. That wouldn't be good at all.

Oh, by the way, @PHX (13th), @LAC (19th), and vs. POR (27th) are all nationally televised games. Chalk up 3 Ws. :D

Well I said maybe. How the heck do we beat the Hawks away without Dre? It was hard enough with Dre. They've always been a problem for us. Remember when the Clips were young and athletic and used to kick our ass even though they were bad? Well, that's Atlanta now.
