Becuase he's tired of being in Nellie's doghouse?...Supposedly this was in ESPN the magazine.

Nellie dick's around too much with new D league players and Webber...I don't blame Al at all if it's true he felt that way...Al thinks too much of himself offensively, but he's a solid player who should be set in a certain role...Not this gimmick ball crap where every night is a different lineup.

It may be true about Al but I doubt Indy wanted him (or anyone else for that matter). Nellie's pigeonholed him into this "tweener/sixth man/quasi-center/3 point specialist". In a sense, he really doesn't have a position so who out there would really want him? So here Al is, when he should be in the prime of his career and still tryng to find himself. His attitude has been good since he's been with us, but I can certainly see how he might be frustrated by Nellie's non-conventional use of his talents.

If i remember right, Al had issues with J O'Neal after he returned to the team from Atlanta

Trading Al was a signal to JON that he's the one they want

Now, JON has major injury issues - but he cant easily be traded. I dont see Al going back there.

A more likely destination is Chicago - who have been interested in Al for a long time. Bulls need to work out their guard glut (Hinrich, Gordon or Hughes must go) and Nocioni will probably be available. Both Hinrich & Nocioni lose their BYC status on July 1 and can be dealt at face value.

If Stupid Sam writes it, it never happens. I havent seen Sam get a trade right in over 20 years.

He even missed the Wallace to Cavaliers trade. A few days before he answered an e-mail of mine saying that Wallace will definitely not be traded. That did seem logical at the time...

Obviously, Sam has no inside info on the Bulls & anything he writes is speculation.

Yet, the Bulls would be interested in Harrington - but not for any of those players Sam mentions

At some point, that reverse track record becomes credible. Maybe Sam actually knows EVERYTHING. It's the only way he can be sure to be wrong every time he writes.

The other day Nellie said Al has the green light to do whatever he wants out there - shoot from three, post up, dribble drive, whatever. The only exception is when he's matched up against a big shot blocker, in which case it's Al's job to drain it from outside in order to draw his defender away from the rim.

Just a week or two ago, right about the time he picked up Web, Nellie was saying how he just wanted Al to shoot 3s. Nice field reveral Nellie. Typical Nelliespeak, lol.

When Nellie spoke about Al messing things up, that was during the post-game comments referring to the one game. Razor and Tom were making it sound like a more general statement.

When was Nellie saying he just wanted Al to shoot the three? And was he referring to a specific matchup, or a general strategy?

ODB really freaked out on Al at the 9:30 mark of the 4th Q tonight vs Philly...Ended with a "I CALL THE F****G PLAYS*...What a nut job.

I caught that.

It started earlier though. Throught the game, Monta wanted Al to start rolling off the screen rather than pick and pop. When they ran the play on the wing/baseline, ou could see Al hedging about going out to the arc, but the play call when Daly was in was for Al to step out. A couple of times, Al blew the timing by hedging, and then the one time he forced his way inside instead of taking the J.

Al's head is so twisted around right now . . . more adjustments.

Here we are over halfway through the season and we're still trying to figure out what our rotation is? Must be pretty tough for some of the players.
