Season is all most over for us [ By the way good luck in the post season]
I just thought i would ask you guys if you was happy with the trade and how is it working out for you guys? I think most people in Charlotte is happy with the trade . Rich is one of our best players and was a bright spot in a bad season.
I just wondered your openion of the trade now thet the season is about over?
Good luck in the play offs and i know a lot of Bobcats who are pulling for you guys.

I think it's been a great trade for both sides and am happy that it's worked for both you and J-Rich. Wright's now progressing finally, but probably the most important thing which has happened as a result of the trade is that it's allowed Monta Ellis to get the majority of J-Rich's minutes and is emerging into a star. J-Rich is young enough to potentially give youg guys one o the cornerstones for your future and in the long run should benefit him in his overall career.

I am quite pleased with the trade, no regrets.

You pretty much described Jrich when he was with us. A bright spot in bad seasons after bad seasons.

When I first heard about the trade I didn't like it. I felt Jason was too important to the teams chemistry, that this whole "I believe"-overachieving spirit was gone and the Ws were going to dive back into the lottery.
But after this season, Baron, Barnes and espec. Jack seem to be much more important to the team than Jason ever was.
It was kinda obvious that we could replace Jason on the field (Monta&Azu&Pietrus), but it shows now that he also could be replaced off court fairly easily. Jack seems to flourish in that team captn role, which is good to see. Who knows, perhaps he would've turned mad if we had kept Jason along side him and pressed him into a smaller role...

I always liked the Brandan side of the trade, just felt that Jason could've been to important to give up. If Wright becomes an Allstar (looks like) the trade will probably be remembered as the end of the JRich&Dun&Murphy&Foyle&Fisher days, not the Indy trade. It just has more of that "Turning Point!" feeling to it...

its great to see jason in a place where he is one the focus as the cornerstone of the franchise. when baron came, jason automatically took a backseat to who is one of the best point guards in the league. and with a backcourt that is almost 30 mil of the payroll, one of them had to go. and jason was the odd man out even though he gave year after year of hardwork and dedication. it was hard to see him go but honestly it was a great move.

brandan has finally started to show what he can do and that he could eventually move into a starting line up that can actually play defense but still run and score points. what nellie wants. i think that wright can actually bulk up 20-30 lbs and be a force to reckon with in the west. with bean and monta we have a great trio for the future. jrich was a big piece in the we believe movement but in someways he was expendable.

i dont wnat to get ahead of myself and say that we can replace jrich because he was crutial down the stretch and in the playoffs where as monta has yet to prove that. hopefully this season we shall see if he can fill those shoes that jrich did for us for so many years. this situation was a win win i believe and that im sure both sides are happy with what they got.

Yeah, I'll 2nd all thats been said. Love J-Rich and still catch a lot of Bobs games, but it was a necessary move and BWRIGHT is turning out to be Gravy.

I love the trade and don't regret it for a second.

I'm absolutely in love with Brandan Wright's length, skill set and his potential. Not only did we get a young star quality PF we've been searching for over ten years. The trade also freed up more minutes for Monta Ellis which also has worked out very well. Not to mention we now have some cap flexibility this summer to re-sign Andris and Monta. Mully made an excellent trade.

I just love the Bwright praise. I'll admit im starting to see that Bwright does have some talent and is impressive, but ya'll just givin him too much credit.

So far ive heard "Chris Bosh number 2" "Future Franchise power foward" now im hearing "star quality pf we've been searchin for FOR OVER TEN YEARS" too funny.

Please elaborate on your view of Brandon. I don't think he can be compared to Bosh because their games are so different. BWright is an incomparable athlete. How many 6-10 guys with 7 and a half foot wing spans run the floor like that?

i miss having jason on the team. he was a good example, a great presence in the locker room and to me he'll always be a warrior. but i'm glad how the trade worked out. i hope next season will be a better one for charlotte and it's just exciting watching brandan and tay play and grow. when andris gets back i'm gonna be droolin like a baby when i see monta andris and brandan together.

I think cdubbz was saying he enjoys hearing such high praise - not that he agrees with it.

But no, i'm not blind. I see the Bwright has valuable talents for a big man that he can expand his game on that it takes other bigs a while to work on. I just don't see why were over praising him for it prematurely.

Night Angel, what do you envision Bwright doing in the future? Do you picture him a 20-10 guy? A Kevin Garnett type superstar? What is it? I mean I can't predict the future and none of you can, but I can see Wright as a 15-16 ppg and 8-9 rpg kinda player...an above average role player who does the dirty work.

I dont know if the chris bosh comparisons were exaggerated or that 510 and others actually believe that he is....and i dont know if he is the power foward we've been waiting for FOR TEN YEARS, but i'll agree that he is quality, but wont get high off of bwright till he shows us more.

I guess as a fan i have a tendency to think as a GM and I want to see what he has before i give him the max. i bet most of you guys would give Bwright the max extension right now because of his oh so promising potential.

Well right now he's getting 10 to 12 points mainly off only pick and rolls and offensive put backs. When we design more plays for Wright, we'll see his baby hooks and mid range jumper. So yes I could see Wright scoring 18 to 20 PPG in the future. Wright is already an excellent offensive and defensive rebounder so ten rebounds also shouldn't be a problem.

Now a Kevin Garnett type superstar I definitely can't tell you that will happen. But agree with it or not I still do see some similarities with Chris Bosh.

I absolutely love JRich, he was one of my favorite Warriors and is easily my favorite non-Warrior in the L...the way he plays with so much heart and effort even on a losing team for so long really makes it hard not to love him as a player.

But from a business standpoint, JRich really had to go. He was making too much money and we could fairly easily replace him with more minutes for Ellis and Jackson. The deal we made was a great one: getting instant cap savings which allows us to comfortably extend Baron, Ellis and Biedrins as well as a great young prospect like Brandan Wright was ideal.

I liked the deal for both teams back when spectre and I called it before the draft ( ) and I still like it for both teams.

BWright's already basically capable of putting up 13/7 and a block a game as a 20 year old rookie...to say that his peak is 16/9 is aiming way low IMO.

I could easily see him as a 22/10/2 blocks player a few years from now, especially if he can get up to like 230-240 lbs. He's got unbelievable athleticism, a killer baby hook, some sweet post moves and excellent timing for rebounds and blocks.

Jasons passion and demeanor on the court is missing...and i really think that was our edge last year. We arent as passionate of a team this season as we were last season and i think that may lead us to miss the playoffs.
