MVP consideration and our luck.............

I'm so proud of this team ! That being said, how does Brandon Roy make the All Star team ahead of Baron or even Jox and when MVP voting comes will either one get any consideration ? Probably not but all true
fans know that we'd have 15 (or less) wins without BD and Jax doin' it game in and game out.
Lastly....what luck do we have when we are having the best season in years and the Lakers (whom I despise) get Gasol and jet off to the best
record in the West ? Can we get a break ? Lol....

I know they're NOT gonna win the MVP award. I just want them in the mix and people should realize how well BD and Jax have played all year.
Don't just blow them (and the team) off. And....why give the award to Kobe if they really made their "run" when Gasol came on board ? Why not give it to Gasol ?

Baron might get a vote. Jax won't.

I'm not arguing that they haven't played great all season, but the MVP race is another story, and if you haven't noticed, the Warriors aren't exactly the political darlings of the NBA. We haven't had an all star since Spree in '97.

Give the award to kobe because he's arguably the best player in the league, and his team has the best record. I'm not sure how much more complex the analysis is than that.

Baron Davis deserves to be in the talk. Such an empty team.... you know Lakers have Gasol, Bynum, Fisher... G-State has S-Jax...

G-State is only 4.5 GB the Lakers. B-Diddy deserves some love.

BD should be considered, but KOBE or LEBRON will win it

There are too many good players and more marketable faces in this league, so MVP is not even a consideration for BD or JAX...

But if we can win some series this years, I see Monte will have a shot.

^^^ MVP's NOT a popularity contest. If even Tony Parker gets MVP votes, HTF won't Baron finish in top 5-10?

Lebron deserves it over Kobe... anyday

The problem with Baron even beginning to be involved in the start of any kind of hypothetical MVP talk is that ugly 0-6 start to the season... Jackson looks like the hero on this team.

Lat time I checked, Boston had a (much) better record than LA.

KG?

Jax MVP consideration? Come on! Are you serious? He is lucky he's still in the league. This is coming from a big Jax fan.

ESPN pegged him as the first trimester's MVP for the West (along with KG in the East). He was also in NBA.com's Race to the MVP for about 4 weeks.

People have considered it.
