Sign Smush Parker as Backup to Baron?

Post#1 » by Abyss Impact » Mon Mar 10, 2008 11:44 pm

We don't have a back up PG for Baron davis. Monta Ellis is a SG. I think we should go for Smush, he can shoot the ball well and make shots. He was pretty deadly from three point line when he was a laker.

Thoughts?

If we don't I hope Pietrus gets more minutes as Monta is PG, Pietrus at SG and all that stuff.

Hes not dumb. Why is he in the NBA if hes dumb?

And if you think French sexy is dumb... at least he plays with more heart than lets say... Al Harrington? Andris Biedrins? Austin Croshere?

I did... And Pietrus was getting very little playing time. He is affective when he starts.

You either meant effective or affected. I'm going with affected.

Smush Parker is a cancer that couldn't even get PT in Miami

Because Miami is dumb... look at their record. You need smart a smart coaching staff like nelly to play players that have a really good shot.

I'd rather pick up Mateen Cleaves from D.

How 'bout we sign Smush and then waive Petey, Abyss since we need another point guard so bad? Then we can use Bellinelli to take over Pete's spot.

Are you serious?

Pietrus moans and pouts like a little sissy when Nellie puts him at PF. Al plays Center against the biggest player in the league.

Andris has actually had the motivation and work ethic to improve his game, whereas Pietrus is the same guy he was last year, the same as the year before.

Croshere is basically crippled, playing with a bad back, yet he's still banging against the other team's biggest guy when he's out there.

What does Pietrus do? Stand in the corner on offense, play defense when he feels like it, and then daydream about playing in Miami next year.

Well, if he thinks hes going to be traded or going to another team next season, why would he try and help his team? Let Pietrus not play for a contract and he'll perform really good.

Btw, if you don't want Smush, do you really want Baron playing 40+ minutes a game? Remember that he never has an injury, so those 5 game breaks and the allstar game is the only break he has on those legs. We need a Back up for him, and Smush IMO fits well because he can play really well

= no heart. (and also killed his chances of getting a trade)

Baron, Tay and Dre seem to be playing just fine for a contract.

Pete is a douche.

Set. Match.

Can't we just continue to let CJ Watson score and not be nuts?
He seems fine in both capacities.
