Was just reading the article on Contra Costa Times about the Warriors picking up Nellie's option...at the end it said..."The Warriors' game against the Hornets in New Orleans on April 6 has been picked up for broadcast on ABC". Does this mean more potential W's games on Sunday mornings and less Cavs-Heat? If SO YES YES YES.

There shouldn't be any more Heat or Bulls games on national TV going forward. If the broadcasters didn't get some tank protection in the TV contracts they are idiots.

For some reason it seems like ABC is expecting the Hornets to win the game.

I think it's like they want to show love for New Orleans and they want to broadcast a game where the Hornets can slaughter the other team, but also have the game be competitive and fun to watch. Hornets-Warriors is perfect because the Hornets can beat us yet the Warriors crazy offense just makes it even more fun to watch.

ABC should broadcast a Warriors home game though. Warriors/Suns matchups are always fun. But I can't complain, the Warriors finally got a chance to be televised on ABC!

Someone at ABC is an actual basketball fan, because that January Hornets Dubbs game was the best played basketball game of the season.

They're apparently big fans of PCD too. I hated that "Right Now" theme.

Finally... I've been wanting this. Its way better than being on NBA TV or ESPN or TNT. ABC is going to get some high ratings because of the fun style the warriors play. For once, I can watch the Warriors without having to watch it online on league pass. I hope we get more of ABC's network tv time because we are actually really good to watch to people.

im loving it...now the world will get to see the Warriors. This is prime time baby.

Barons gonna be mic'd up.
Theres going to be a Jack clip - Of course the brawl and then they will show how hes changed (ie: him bringing those 10 kids to Oakland, him stating Stack Jack University or whatever its called)

Im actually excited about the early start. My gf always get mad at me, because I always put off going out with her or doing things in general when the Warriors are playing at 7:30....It's going to be a good change.

Awesome. In general though, starting tonight, we have A LOT of national TV games in the final stretch - whether it's NBATV, ESPN, or TNT.

ABC's broadcast team is pretty awful but the national exposure is great for the big three in particular. If Monta wants to make an argument for MIP again, he can. If Jack wants to cement an All-Defensive team spot, he can. And Baron just enjoys the spotlight regardless.

Who's the ABC team? Are we gonna have to hear Marv talking about our 1st round pick Monta, and about Michael Pietrus?

yikes. early games scare me.... our team likes to party, and playing hung over isn't a good thing.

i work sundays, so it looks like i'll be sick that day.

I think it's Breen, JVG, and Mark Jackson. They're all very average and JVG in particular doesn't really like to talk about the game itself and I don't think the Warriors are one of his favorite teams anyway.

Jeff Van Gundy is hilarious. I'm glad that he's on the ABC broadcast team, it seemed like he somewhat saved their broadcasting.

Hopefully the Warriors pull off a very entertaining and competitive win that would lead to more ABC televised games!
