They're on NBATV right now..Pat looks good...Amazing that the warriors will have Perovic on the payroll next season, while they let POB just walk away. :crazy:

It's now painfully clear that Wright can play a big role NOW. It's damn likely we (Nellie actually) delayed all that by a couple of months for no good purpose. JUST ONCE...we COULD have left POB in for a whole bloody quarter just to see what results. I'd be curious,even if he'd only been a rd 2 like Kosta.

Speaking of......

Kosta has what? 5 NBA minutes? That's not even a whole coffee break and y'know how quick that goes. Invest a #2,then quit on him. Please..what exactly is the point in that?

What I say is really the worst thing about the POB ordeal is not that he might be able to play, just let's assume that he just didn't fit in Nellies plans (a pretty reasonable assumption, I think), at least they shouldn't have destroyed his value and then not resigned him destroying any possible trade potential. That's probably the worst of it. I'd have been content to see him succeed elsewhere, I just would have liked to get something in return for him. The fact that the way he was treated by Nellie made him in effect "untradeable" is what makes this somewhat of a travesty. There is no way that this has helped the team. A lottery pick less than 2 years removed from the draft has been totally trashed, yet people want to dismiss that as "POB sucked" and doesn't even belong in the NBA because of his terrible attitude". Sad, but what a joke.

Even before the Nellie days, the Warriors some how never develope their "talent" the right way. There's always a speed bump in the way. Like many have stated above, if were investing in a high draft pick on a player, at least let them play it out and see what they can offer.

#s are the best way to determine players... Kosta could (and should) have put up 20-20 in the D-League considering hes played professional ball for almost 5 years now..

Safe practice to put stock in Perovic's two 18 reb games when he's 1/2 a foot taller than the rest of the league (7'2 compared to 6'9).

But at this point, it should be common knowledge the POB's basketball skills are much greater than that of Perovic's... these people writing off POB are just suckling at Nellie's teat for dragging us out of the hell his carelessness brought on in the 1st place.... I love the routine

Remember, foolish fools, the goal here is to win a championship, not to just be a winning team. And I can pretty much guarantee that this frontcourt, which we so arrogantly discarded, will one day win a D-League title.

I hear ya. It sucks to spend a lottery pick and get nothing from it, either on the court or in trade.

But here's what I think is a relevant question for you: what do you think Mouhamed Sene's trade value is around the League?

I too hated how the Patrick O'Bryant fiasco was handled, but I won't moan too much about it since I never wanted him drafted in the first place.

What I am though....is worried for Brandan Wright. I'm not at all confident in Don Nelson's ability to coach young talented big men. His resume there isn't very impressive.

Sene is WAY worse than O'Bryant and yet he was at least given a chance. I doubt Seattle's going to give up on him (like we did). His contract goes out to 2011 so I guess they must have resigned him. What's worse for us though is that he fits in the place where we have our greatest weakness.
