Honestly after watching these last few games, I've had it with Stephen Jackson. When he is great, we are unstoppable, but when he is bad he absolutely destroys our team. I say we try and move him while his value is high. I want to see this team made over.

Miller for Jackson (Worse defender, but better shooter, better rebounder, and much more consistent.)
Odom for Harrington (Solves our rebounding problems. Odom would be a beast in an open style offense.)
Ariza and Childress for Barntrus (Just better)
Lowry for Watson (See above)

No one will give up much for Jackson.

Nelson made him productive in quirk ball and the PR campaign is not convincing those who have to pay him and count on him to take the chance. Even though his value to the team has been widely stressed by the media, his trade value is next to nil.

We were ridding ourselves of the Murphy and Dunleavy contracts, despite Dunleavy suddenly looking pretty good. We had to take on Jackson as a service charge. He's regressing and looking pretty whiny and lazy again of late. That's not a major selling point.

We got ripped off in the Indiana trade.

I miss Diogu constantly. I really think he was something special.

Dude plays poorly in 4 games and you want to get rid of a player who averages 20/4.5/4 and plays excellent D (when he's healthy). Hailed as an MVP candidate by the media on several occasions. Jack ain't perfect, but without him this team isn't even close to the playoffs and doesn't win anything last year either. BD gets a ton of praise for the Mavericks series, but Jack played the tough D and threw in 7 threes in the biggest Warriors game in 13 years.

We're all understandably frustrated with the past couple weeks, but come on.

And Diogu sucks. I hope you're kidding. He's glued to the Pacers bench and they severely lack post play. His basketball IQ is lower than MP's at this point.

Jack had 8 dimes today, and was the only starter with more than 1 at the half (he had like 5 or 6 IIRC).

However, his all-around offense was horrendous. Indecisive, slow, and not very poised. And Peja suffocated him on the perimeter and Jack just stood there and basically gave up.

Agreed 100%. Adding players like Odom and Miller would do wonders for our ball movement. As well as our rebounding.

The Indiana fans on realgm were more bitter about Jack's shot selection than they were bitter about his *incidents*...I'm starting to see why he terrified them so...Jack really doesnt understand what's a good shot and what's a bad shot...It's not something you learn either, although a coach can restrict from taking certain shots...

Monta's got *it*..His shot selection is pure art.

Jack's entire game rises and falls with his fortunes. When he's off it affects everything.. not just his shot, but his turnovers, his ref whining, his defense...

When he's on he's a force and we all love him. When he's off he's a disaster. I love him warts and all but I've been praying for reduced minutes lately until he gets it back together.

Too late. He ran out of time to get it back together this year after overachieving for Nelson over a great stretch.

Which tells me, personally, enough for next year, too. All of this had been a shock from him and now he looks like he always has in the past if he sticks around too long.

Not sure how one can come to so adore a rent-a-payroll-fix but he has generated some passion as a Warrior, no question.

Jax been killing us.... but I'm convinced (or convinced myself) his crap play is due to his health.

They're all just to tired right now.

ODB shortened the bench and they've repsoned by losing 3 out of 4 at the most critical spot of the season.

I can't knock on Jax, he's been special all year.

It's the old guy who refuses to rest his best guys.

I still think this is the time to look to move Jackson and Harrington while they still hold positive value. I floated the Jack + Harrington for Odom + Ariza trade, and it was about 50% positive.

I honestly think that Odom would be a beast at PF here.

The Lakers will not trade Odom to their PF starved Pacific Division rival.

The only player we need to trade is Harrington, that nub. He deserves to be on a losing team scoring points as the tweener SF/PF.

Trade him to Milwaukee for Villanueva and Desmond Mason.

He looked fine in the past. I liked his play in Indiana. The idea that there is a bad Jack to revert to is a myth.

You are looking at this SJax thing way too positively Floppy.

Havent you seen all of those tattoos on SJax? And remember the brawl? The guy is clearly a bad apple. Its just taken this bad past week to expose what he was hiding over his first 100 Warriors games.

I support Jack, he has made mistakes, but has been a good apple while he has been a Warrior. When his game is on, he is one of the best players on the court. He has struggled of late and I don't know the reasons behind it, but there have been other players struggling too.

I don't think you will get fair value for him and if anyone thinks the Pacers got the better end of the deal, we wouldn't have made the playoffs last year and we would have already been out of the playoff hunt this year.
