LF's man is back.

I'm not a big fan of POB, but let's see if he'll get some burn to prove guys like me wrong. Seems like he played pretty well in the D League, so I hope that can translate into some good minutes off the bench to give AB some rest.

I was loving watching Pat dominate the paint in the D league...Jam have a game Wednesday..This sucks if they're not going to give O any minutes this week with the W's....

POB can be just as good as Bynum

I thought you were talking about Pietrus. Patty won't play.
Nellie is to jealous of his Hall of Fameness.

I'm not sure Nellie even knows Kosta's name.

Nellie probably got a memo that noted POB's very impressive stat line in that recent game and went on to say that if we leave him in the D league AND then miss the 8th seed,we look like IDIOTS....and idiot is a stain that does not quickly wash out. :wavefinger:

Had POB had a 100 pt game, like Wilt. Maybe Nellie would give him a shot.
Calling him up is just Nellie/Mully saving face. They can't afford to have him tearing up the D league when the party line is that it's his own damn fault he only plays 2 min per month here.

LOL with GSWBandwagon

LOL @ the rest of you

I wouldnt mind being wrong though, of course, despite the hit to my pride. Let see if POB can go out there and not take a dump on the court.

No defense but Warriors winOAKLAND -- Forward Mickael Pietrus was back in uniform for the Warriors on Tuesday, although you almost couldn't tell it from watching the first half.
Pietrus suited up for the first time since March 21 after his strained right groin and hamstring forced him to miss nine games, but he didn't get into the contest until only 47.2 seconds were left in the second quarter. He finished with 10 points and 2 rebounds in 13 minutes.

"Right now, there's five games left, and we don't have that many options," Pietrus said. "When they call your name, just try to do the best for the team. ... I haven't done anything for two weeks now. I'm not going to try to do that much, and I'm really going to try to make sure that I take care of the team business."

Pietrus had been on his most dominant stretch of the season in the month before the injury, and Warriors coach Don Nelson said before the game that he would be putting Pietrus right back into the team's rotation of front line players. However, Nelson wouldn't commit to how many minutes Pietrus might see, which proved to be telling.

"It depends on how he looks out there," Nelson said. "We're not afraid to use (Brandan) Wright in certain situations. I think he'll be able to play tonight."

That's exactly how it turned out. Wright was the first man off the bench for the Warriors, replacing Andris Biedrins, and he provided a quick six points and one rebound in just six minutes before intermission.

Barnes' playoff mohawk from last season has been resurrected. "I was gonna cut it all off because I was getting tired of my hair, but (my barber) talked me out of it," Barnes said. So, will it be a good-luck charm, as it was against Dallas in that first-round matchup? "If I play, it might." ... Center Patrick O'Bryant, who had been expected to stay with the Warriors' NBA Development League affiliate until the end of its season, was called up early to provide some extra height to the Warriors bench. "He's playing with a lot of confidence right now, so I thought we'd bring him back," Nelson said. "You never know when I'll need his length. I'll take a look at him in practice (Wednesday) and see how he's developed there. He got a lot of games, a lot of minutes and has done very well, statistically (in the D-League)." ... Baron Davis picked up his 13th technical foul of the season in the second quarter. If he reaches 16 before the regular season's end, he will incur a one-game suspension, although if the 16th comes in game No. 82, the suspension will carry over to next season, rather than be in effect for Game 1 of a first-round playoff series. ... Longtime Oracle Arena public-address announcer Matt Hurwitz missed the game due to personal reasons. Nick Laino of Stanford sat in behind the microphone.

Great. At least now it seems like he's finally considering it, with just 5 games left in the season. Sure took him long enough. Think he'll try him out before the season's over?

I doubt it.
