Denver's going to beat us down.

You notice when we're good these days, we're really not all that good? It's true...We played well in the 1st half yesterday , but there wasnt much seperation..In the 2nd half we sucked donkey balls (except for Goose) and we were able to hold the lead..

I'm predicting the warriors win the 1st half vs Denver, then get destroyed starting in the middle of the 3rd...GS will make a big run to start the 4th..but our guard will run out of gas and the nuggets win 126-117.

14th pick = Kevin Love or move up and steal Eric Gordon...

If I'm wrong? I win too..I want to see the W's in the playoffs..Even playing gimmick ball.

Well, the Ws may not be that good, but it's not the 92 Dreamteam we're up against. If Denver is capable of loosing to the Sonics (and the Kings), they'll find a way to hand the game to us.
It's kinda sad that this 8th place isn't about who's better but who does suck less... but that's the way it is.

You think K-Love will fall to 14th? Is this a reverse jinx thread by the way? If it is, did I just ruin it?

Two main sites have Love going 8th and 13th...I'd pick him if he slips..

Gordon? I think he's easily the most underrated player in this draft..It's not even close...How could people be putting him down as the 4th gaurd selected? ..That's why I love the draft..It's so easy to make fun of the experts. ..

We need to get Gordon..

If I was picking for the warriors, I'd pick Gordon over Rose...Rose doesnt have touch..He's going to be a great NBA player, but he cant shoot..I want Monta at the point (I totally believe he's going to star for us there) and I want a big 2 gaurd who can shoot lights out..That's Gordon..This kid is a great passer too..He can board and defend...I love him.

Where do you think he'll fall...and I totally agree about Monta.

Gordon's 6'3". What makes you think he'd be a great combo with Monta?

Gordon's a physical beast...What makes me think? I dont think..I watch..I followed this kid..When I track a talent, I rarely miss on him...

I don't know why, but Gordon hasn't shown me anything spectacular yet...

Eric Gordon played as Marcus Jordan in Space Jam? Never knew about that one.

Derrick Rose is legit. He'll be a combo of Monta and Deron Williams (not as good of a passer as Williams, not as good of a scorer as Monta, but a really nice balance). Eric Gordon will be Ben Gordon. I'll take Rose.

As far as our pick, I'm pushing for JJ Hickson. He's big, athletic and can score. I think he fits the bill.

I can't get behind an EG pick yet... I've only seen him in 2 games, UConn and Arkansas... apparently he's roughly the same player as those nights with his shot dropping. And he shoots a lot of 3s... dunno if that's good or bad.

One guy who's stock is dropping a ton is DeAndre Jordan... at worst the kid is a tough rebounder and NBA ready body kid. Of course, we wouldnt develop him w/Nellie, but he seems to be the Andrew Bynum of the draft class - still very raw but with some teaching can be damn good...

i remember alot of people (me included) were calling Gordon the steal of the draft after a month or two of college ball. Everything changed when the coaching controversy started in Indiana. In fact, he was top 5 on most draft sites until he got a little banged up and **** hit the fan with Kelvin.

I would call him part ben gordon, part baron davis. I agree with LF that he would be a very good player to play next to Monta. I have no problem having two short combo guards starting as long as we have the length inside to help alter shots and rebound (wright / AB).

The Eric-Ben Gordon comparisons crack me up..Another year of reading through draft express and watching You Tube clips and then you're an expert..The Yi experience all over again

Not a big fan of Gordon. He's a great shooter and has great speed/strength combo, but he's too much of a straight ahead athlete for me, and for a 6 4 guard, he has a below average handles. He's almost like a mini-Jrich, shoots up a lot of 3's and takes it in to the basket, but he'll have big deficiencies in his game. I like Bayless more, with his ability to probe the dfense more and take it to the basket, and out of the guards in the draft, would take Rose, Bayless, CDR, Gordon, and OJ in that order.

I wouldnt pluck OJ out of the D league let alone draft him..Bayless is your typical Arizona 2 gaurd..He's way too tiny to be a 2 and he's never going to be a point...Pass

Golden State wont have a chance at Gordon or Rose, both are top 7 draft picks, rose will go 2nd at worst.

You're are totally right. Let me apologize for the board. Last year all the outsiders told us we were crazy for talking so much about JWright, Yi and BWright..That we are picking 18th and youve got no chance at landing a top pick...Woops.
