Monta's our PG ..Ignore the doubters...
Baron can't shoot..That's it..He done here..I don't want him off the ball..He sucks without the rock...I want Monta with the ball doing his pic n roll with Goose..Then let's put a pure shooter/passer at the 2..Eric Gordon it is...
Goodbye Baron..Thanks for the great play and F U for the sh*t attitude and horrid shot selection the rest of the time.

I'm beginning to think neither he nor Nellie will be back. It should be an interesting off-season.

I would like to declare my self a full fledged member of the Baron hate-wagon.

If this happens, I expect us back to Lottery next season.

We have 48 wins. No conference had 45+ wins and missing playoffs in a while. I'm pretty sure with 48 wins we could get in the playoffs for any year but this.

It's been a good run. Baron got some credibility back and we got a really good player for a bargain price (talent wise). The franchise gained some momentum. We have some young pieces that most people seem to like. It's probably a good time for an amicable split.

Baron to NY for Marbury and the 5th pick

I think it's been a pretty mediocre run overall but Baron Davis has been far more valuable to the franchise than any of the available free agents from 2005 or 2006 have been or could have been, by a landslide.
That was the calculation of note and it was right on.
The most valuable overall players in-season have been not Baron Davis two years running after this failure. He's really got one playoff series of glory and one dunk (offensive foul) poster to bank on.
If there is an amicable parting to be had, great. I doubt it.
Baron Davis may not play tomorrow night.
We'll see.

Wow... It was not an offensive foul. He was in the air already before AK47 tried to jump, which Baron's hand was at the right place and the right time. If anything, it should be an defensive foul like it was, but it should be defensive foul and our ball again because of how credible the dunk was.

I see what you're saying.

Uh... okay. Like a friend of mine tells people, you want a trophy for that effort? Regardless, we are still NOT EVEN GOOD enough to make the playoff.
And next year, there might be 11 teams competing for the playoff (and Seattle and Memphis getting more FA help). So you can keep celebrating that 48 wins record will not be broken. But the fact still is, the West is going to get tougher for the next few years (until Dallas and SAS gets old). And we will most likey still be in the lottery.
I say do what Billy Beane did and sell high since GSW knows the odds are against them (and it seems it is the best move so far in A's season). Lets not do the traditional GSW thing again and think the GSW is almost there with signing of Fisher to get into playoff. Or traded #10 [Being Jason Terry] for a Rundown Blaylok.
Hell. I agree with LF and trade for Mabury with Baron (5th pick being the key). Can we package Al in the deal for Lee as well?

Donnie Walsh already had Al and he doesn't want Baron.

He probably doesn't want to deal with Mully and Nellie either after he got gang banged by them. Probably cost him his job in Indy and may cost Bird his too.

I find it unlikely that Baron would be out of the final home game of the year after being so central to fan interest in the team these past three seasons, especially if we want to keep his value high for maximum flexibility this offseason.
But he's not been kind about last night and the fans have been audibly supportive of the youth at the games.

I wouldn't be surprised by this in the least. He is really starting to show his true colors.
