Very fishy ending to the year ripe with off season drama unless someone (Baron) publically states a position that is complimentary to the coach and the Warriors.

This wasnt a one night blowup..Anybody who can't see that Baron has severe attitude problems is just burying their heads in the sand..Nellie has done a brilliant job of kissing Baron's azzz and keeping him happy...From Sundance to Baron's daily flights to LA after practice..The whole organization has gotten down on their knee's for BD..

Nellie had enough..Good for him!! He decided that since the warriors were basically dead for the playoffs, this was the time to take a stand against Baron in a meaningful game...

Now that Ive had time to think about it, it was a brilliant move on the ODB's part.

The ODB is not a magician or anything, but benching Baron may have caused Baron to be back and himself to be back.

I think Nellie told Baron he will not play in the 2nd half cus he simply didn't have it. Nellie gave up on this game at halftime. I don't think Nellie anticipated we would come roaring back and go up 9 pts or whatever, I sure didn't. Nellie stuck to his decision, there was no guarantee playing Baron in the 4th would lead to a win, oh well.

LF's situation fits...

But the why is irrelevant... the what will happen as a result? Now THAT's exciting to think about

The second is pathetic. If true then as a fan of the team I want him fired immediately.

Jackson was allowed to shoot his way out of his funk in the second half. Baron wasn't.

there is definitely a point being made, but Nellie's a dick for doing it this way.

you don't coddle a guy for 2 years and then pull the plug on the final chance at a playoff berth.

Fire his ass right now if that's true.

I think it was more along the lines of Baron saying something and the coach reacting to it. That i can live with.

A political show of toughness after cream puffing Baron for 2 years is total crap.

I'd be pissed if it was the other way..a one-time flareup...If Nellie had just gotten mad and benched him for something said, that would be nuts..

i'm thinking it was a white flag to the franchise telling them he wants out, and that he can't take any of it anymore.

Interesting..Kobe sure is a strange superstar..When's he's playing the game right, he's a top10 alltime player..but then a week later something will set him off, and his game will get out of whack..

Stars without severe attitude problems or even any kind of attitude problems are Bosh, Kidd, Dirk, Yao, Duncan, Wade, Dwight Howard, Lebron, Paul, Nash, Garnett, Brand...Those guys make this league special.

I think Baron just got frustrated when he realized that this team was going nowhere. I believe he and Jack discussed it and that's way both of their games went into the dumpster. I think Mylie is right, Jack was almost just as bad in the first half and was even worse these past couple of weeks. I think they figured out, after all of the accolades and Nelson butt kissing they did (demonstrating that they could play under a coach that they respected) that Nellie wasn't all they thought he was cut out to be and with some of his strategies and personnel choices in addition to his poor defensive system (as well as offensive limitations) they were just chasing fools gold.

After all the beatings and the poundings he has taken (due to massive minutes and lack of big bodies protecting him underneath), as well as the extremely hard effort that he put in during the offseason, not even making all stars, I think he just felt it wasn't worth it, and perhaps because of how bad he played that first half, when Nellie made mention of it to him, he probably told Nellie to f k off and Nelson had no choice but to bench him, probably for both their good. It will be interesting to see how it turns out. It's really in Mullin's hands at this point. If Baron's doing what I think he is, then he deserves a lot of credit. I hope he gets a meeting with Mulson, and if he does what I think he will do, he will tell them what he REALLY thinks as well as what the rest of the team thinks, and it will be up to Mullin to try and iron things out with him and Nellie.

I think that basically the leadership of the team has given Nellie a free ride thus far, buying into to his genius personna and willing to put up with some of the bad decisions he has made because they felt that they would be able to overcome them. But now the jig is up so to speak and they now see Nellie for what he is, a guy who has a lot of basketball smarts, but who is his own worst enemy. Baron does not have time to be effing around, as his career is coming to its twilight. He does not want to waste any more of the few good years he has left not being in the playoff scene making some noise and being in the limelight which he so covets. This team was supposed to do that. This team should have done that. Unless he is convinced that changes will be made (that they bring in someone who is going to help this team without damaging the core) then I think he's definitely going to be looking to leave. It all depends on what the Mullin (the Warriors priorities are). This story should start to unfold fairly soon I believe.

As far as the poll is concerned, I'd say it's all of the above.
