I promise never to let reg down again.
Looks like all the big High School names will play
Aminu is the player I want to pay special attention too..He impressed me at the end of the Portland game...He's athletic with a wicked wingspan.
You want to see a ton of legit NBA gaurd talent? Watch this game..Bunch of freaks

....These guys will make CJ D Leaguer and 1st Ballot look like...Well ..Actually..D Leaguers.

So much potential wasted... both him and Gordon looked like garbage...
The US? We make guards and wingers, some SFs ... The rest of the world? PF/Cs... the future is coming

The announcers here suck.... they are talking about the kids' stories instead of their games... focusing on players like Samuel's instead of seeing Derozan's dunk or open 3.....

#21 Blue - Jrue Holiday
#21 Red - Al-Farouq Aminu
#32 Blue - BJ Mullens
Tyreke Evans has been having a helluva game... he looks good as a NBA SG prospect.

Announcers were brutal... I couldnt watch the game live. TiVoed it, remembered some key players #s, and watched while listening to Swollen Members
Jrue is really amazing... such composure for a high schooler... he reminds me of CP3 to a T.
Tyreke Evans showed some good ballhandling skills... played strong D.. made some great passes and shredded the Blue team early.
Derozan is starting to make me wonder why he's being touted so high... he reminds me of VC without the ability to pass... can jump extremely high, is very long... but if he can only score, he'd better be an elite NBA scorer... passing off the dribble? Forget it.
Brandon Jennings has a lot of talent but needs more maturity as a PG.... looked like he'd rather be playing for And1 than the NBA... I don't mind a little showmanship when its uncontested, but these showtime behind the back passes in traffic... all the bad passes in traffic... I don't like that from a PG.
Aminu was his usual self, very up and down on offense, and good-great defensively. He jumps extremely quick too, he may even block a shot or 2 per game next season.
Monroe, Mullens, Gordon and Davis all looked work-withable...
Guys like Samardo Samuels, Kemba Walker, Malcolm Lee, William Buford, and Tony Woods... I don't see the NBA in their future,

Calipari has his work cut out for him with Evans... dude thinks he is gods gift to earth.
i have a hard time critisizing a kid this young though. All they see is mixtapes and shoe commercials and try to emulate the superstars. While Holiday is way more composed, Evans could definitely figure it out as he matures and gets older. I think he made a great decision on going to Memphis.
btw, evans measured a solid 6'5 with a 6'11 wingspan if i recall. So he definitely enters my list of Guards i want in next years lotto (the pick we get for barons expiring). That would include Holiday, Curry, and Evans.

#3 = Brandon Jennings btw... he has a Gumbi haircut because people made fun of the Kid'N'Play doo he sported at the McDonald's games...
Tyreke played with a chip on his shoulder... I loved that... found open teammates, found his own shots, and taunted the D while doing it... Didn't do that vs. the World team - he picks his spots... I'm starting to get homerish on the kid, I love him
His wingspan is that much TB... almost a 7' wingspan for a 6'5 G. Amazing. Only G I'd pass on him for in 2009 is Jrue... the only one.

the official measurments were 6'5.5 with a 6'11.25 wingspan... truly remarkable for a combo guard. Jrue was no slouch though, with a 6'4 6'7.75 mark. Either would have the size to play in a backcourt with Monta. Add Stephen Curry into the mix and i'm giddy.
draft a big at the 14... if we arent top 7 by the trade deadline, shop baron's expiring for a top 10 pick... use that to take one of great guards that will be available in next years draft (a much better guard draft than this years) .
with a fairly reasonable plan (and a little luck with draft picks being the real deal) we could realistically have 4 or 5 young players with ceilings that reach allstar level. Monta and Goose are already proven, Wright has shown enough to warrant being a future starter (imo), at least one of Jrue, Evans, or Curry will be legit starters (if Acie Law, Lawson,DJ, Conley, etc, etc can go lottery, they can all be top 5 talents) and who knows, maybe our pick this year could end up being an Ibaka like talent.

Trade up for another pick 3-15 Pick Love ..Pick McGee at 14
Tank in 08-09 by letting Nellie crash and burn by December:pray:
Pick Ricky Rubio or Jrue Holiday or Tyreke Evans in the 09 draft
Championship by 2015.

i'd rather use Baron's expiring for a top 10 than tank for a top 10.
either way, here are the options:
Rubio - a nash style PG, keeps Monta at the 2.
Evans - a Baron style player. Monta plays as a combo guard.
Jrue - a little JKidd, a little Billups, would keep Monta at the 2.
Curry - combo of Ray allen, bob cousy, Jesus, and Ali. I just know that he will find a way to be good in the NBA.
