I'd do baron for your first round draft pick.

I wouldn't even trade Ellis for your 1st round draft pick because of how valuable he is IMO.

Baron for Mia pick (if #3 or #4)+Haslem+Blount
That's the only deal that remotely makes sense (although it leaves Miami very thin up front). Miami obviously doesn't consider the deal if they pick #1 or #2.
No Monta S&T deals are possible. BYC issues prevent any Monta trade that doesn't have several extra players. He can't be combined with any 08 picks in a sign and trade. Aside from Wade and their 08 pick, there's no combination of things Miami could offer that's even close to getting Monta.

Put it this way. Ignoring the logistical issues I mention above, Haslem + Banks + #1 or #2 and GS most likely says yes (although a lot of fans would still be upset). Haslem + Banks + #3 or #4 and GS probably says no, but it's not an insulting offer. That's the type of value Miami has to add.

No trade exists that makes much sense between Miami and the Warriors.

I take that back...how about Harrington and POB for Dorell Wright and Udonis Haslem?

The Heat will laugh at that trade, since they value Udonis Haslem above Al Harrington.

Don't be too sure about that. Marion and Halsem are somewhat redundant. I think one of them has to go, and yes I think they like Haslem better (salary
a big factor there) so either one of them are available for the right deal. Harrington at least gives them an option due to his versatility, epecially considering they're likely to move Ricky Davis (Al could play some 3 with them). Haslem/Harrington would be a nice 4/3 inexpensive combo for them along with Wade + whoever they pick in the draft and it wouldn't hurt their rebulidng effort.

I just read that Marion wants a long term extension.
Miami is willing to go long term, but only in the 10mil range. So they may be at an impass.
Riley said they have a new model they are going to follow via signing players.

No way you get Ellis without Wade or the #1 pick coming back to Golden State...it's just not going to happen.
Baron...I might consider a deal like Haslem + #3/4 + filler for Baron.

Baron would never play on the East Coast again.
Thats why he likes GState to be close to his Gradma(is she still alive?) and friends.
Hes a West Coast Baller and he'll most likely veto any trade to the East Coast. Making every Gm double think before trading for him

Marion and Baron each have an opt out and 17 or 18 million coming for 08-09...Miami want to extend Marion at 10 million a year for 3 years...That's about the most I'd offer either one of those players.

Baron for Marion, straight up.
