Saw this on 82games.com, thought it bared mentioning...

http://www.82games.com/FSORT1.HTM

- Ellis is ranked #10 in shooting fouls drawn among perimeter players... #4 among guards.

- Mikael Pietrus has 109 shooting fouls, not bad for only playing in 66 games at 20 per. Biedrins was #2 overall in shooting fouls, trailing Mikki Moore by 14...

- Ellis lead the team in offensive fouls (25) and in drawing charges (42). Al Harrington was #2 in charges drawn with 38. BTW, Dunleavy also got 42 charges drawn. Baron had 31, and amazingly, Pietrus had 23...

- Baron leads the team in overall fouls drawn (327) with Monta behind him at 296, and Jax in 3rd with 230..

No point to it really, just a cool little compilation of stats.

Here's the top five list for offensive fouls. Le me know whether or not you are surprised by this.

1. Dwight Howard - 55

2. Carmelo Anthony - 52 (this was a little surprising to me)

3. Carlos Boozer - 49 (surprised it's not higher)

4. Amare Stoudemire - 44

5. Eddie Curry - 43

Surprised Shaq wasn't there, probably missed too many games.

Thanks for the info, Reg.

Melo has no clue. So much wasted talent.

I would guessed Melo would be on the list..How many times a year does he try to crash through the double team?

Melos' only good stretch of ball was with the last US team. He fooled me good by hustling on D and then looking good on O - but it was all because LeBron was setting him up again and again. Melo didn't have to think.

Melo is Jerome Kersey allowed to hog the ball for 7 or 8 years until he develops enough handle to be called a scorer and sell Jordans. He's a product of the watered down league.

In the 80's Melo would have been a 6th man.

Dominique didnt have a clue in the 80's and he got more hype than Melo gets now in 2008.
