Baron for Dirk?

I wonder if a package of Baron, Harrington and first rounder
could nab us
Dirk and Jason Kid....
Not sure what it would take...but I think a front court with Kid and Monta would work and having Dirk on the front line with AB and Jackson....nice...
Thoughts?

I'd do it in a nano second... which leads me to believe that dallas laughs their ass off at that proposal.

Not even close salary wise...let alone value wise for Dallas.

I think we could get more for a package of Baron-Al-and the 14th pick...I trade that package to Portland for Oden and Roy and their 2012 2nd rounder..

Why would you want the 35 year old Jason Kidd? What if he retires and doesn't play with us... what a waste. But I'd take Dirk for Baron and 14th pick .

OMG what a horrible trade for Dallas, they will never get that desperate with all due respect. And there is no way portland would do a deal like that either LF.

Baron cannot be traded unless he waives the Early Termination option.
He has until June 30 to do that. Of course, he could waive it today & be traded tomorrow.....but it must be waived before the NBA approves a trade.

I just think that you would have to give up one of your talented young players for portland to even consider it without hanging up along with extreme laughter.

I don't see us as good trade partners for Dirk. They would want Biedrins and possible Wright, along with our first rounder.
Baron, Al, a resigned Biedrins and our first rounder for Dirk and JoHo?
