Stop with the Nonsense
There is nothing happening this off season. NOTHING.
Ruben Patterson to molest our way into the 2008 playoffs? Nope
Pau Gasol for a bag of chips and herpes? Nope
History is showing that Cohan has no balls.... good atleast the fairweather MaggotsF will disappear.

I love this board during the season. Fans are smart, insightful and full of ideas, thoughts and suggestions. During the offseason though, I HATE this board. All these wishful, whacky trade suggestions that will never ever happen. It's best to just sit tight and wait to see what happens. You think we all don't want a big rebounding forward who can score points down low ? Of course we do BUT we can't give up a scrub or $150K and get him ! Leave the trade snd sign stuff to management. They're gonna do what they wanna do anyway.

No balls? He ok'ed a deal for a much overpaid and oft injured Baron Davis. That was the gamble of the decade.

he bought a ferrari that needed a paint job.... it still kinda ran.
Still no balls.
Funny thought: You guys remember the last nat'l game, Al Harrington was "mic'd up"
Matt Barnes turns to him pregame and says "why you wearing the mic, don't you have to play to be wearing one of those?"

History has also shown:
- Nellie has no idea what to do with an inside presence
- Inside presences win rings
- Baron quits on teams
- Baron isn't a leader
History doesn't mean a damn thing to people on these boards... they love to repeat the same mistakes ad naseum... and heaven help you if you have an idea that doesn't go hand in hand with ignoring history.

Really? We've played halfcourt with this team? Sure, against the Celts we did.
God thats so illogical... We were one of the best reboudning teams in the 90s... therefore, history has proven us to be good rebounders?
History is only relevant when your talking about PLAYERS and PEOPLE... unless the Spurs keep winning rings because of their history. They should get rid of those players they have... it wont matter... their historically winners.
We played smallball this year... that didn't get us to the playoffs... last year it snuck us in as the 8 seed on the last day of the season.... apparently thats our golden ticket...
It wouldnt be so bad about your homerisms if you didn't actually try to incorportate basketball knowledge into them... I feel bad for some poor homer kids who come here and read it, and might actually listen

and i feel bad for the kids who read Jason Kidd is better than Baron Davis. and the kids who believe with the snap of your fingers a Championship team can be built. and the kids who believe Antoine Walker for Baron Davis is a good deal.

Lets Go Baron Davis...i dont care what jersey you put on. Lets go.
Big Smooth is focused and ready to handle the centers of the league.
Curry and Ellis will be a top 5 back court this season. 6/25/2010

Or maybe the Jamareo Davidson deal... it must be hard work to remain so oblivious.
You feel bad for kids who would read Kidd is better than Baron? Wow... here kids, take a ball, and shoot it... you can pass the ball you say? Meh... only if you can't get a contested 3 off. Don't worry about playing D either, save your energy for all those 3s you need to take... playing the right way? Court vision? The extra pass? Those don't get you shoe contracts and Adam Sandler commercial deals

Warriors would be crazy to turn down Cuban when he calls this June..And he will call...Kidd, Jones and Bass for Baron and Al..I don't want Josh Howard.510Reggae wrote:-= original quote snipped =-Typical homer patrol... the #3 pick is the centerpiece and you are focusing on the EC... its like calling the Jackson trade the "JazzyCabbages" deal... It's pathetic...
