I only know what I think everyone does - they're making lots of money on an already substantial (foolishly so, by some earlier estimates) investment and Chris Cohan is not exactly anxious to complicate his tax returns any time soon by selling more of such a massive set of assets.

Rowell and I talked this one to death a few months ago, and the tax issue is the key one. Cohan got in hot water by following poor advice on his last business exit strategy. Selling the Dubbs while still appealing/negotiating/paying off his current tax penalties and inviting the IRS back into his pocket is probably not high on his list of priorities.

Even before this IRS issue, Oracle's CEO wanted the Dubbs so badly... and was will to pay market price. Cohan refused to sell.

I am still dreaming the days Ellison becomes the new owner.

Same here, I wish Cohan wasn't such a cheap S.O.B.
