He had a nice reception from fans when he returned.

Maybe Mullen would sign him to a minimum contract for bench depth?

Warriors are paying Foyle $6.9 mil next season - he ought to come back.

He can be a greeter at home games.

Maybe wear the Thunder suit and shoot t-shirts into the crowd.

This is really the relevant point. It isn't like Nelly was refusing to play him because his salary was too high. He wasn't getting play time before. He hasn't improved since. He wouldn't get play time now. I like the guy a lot as a person, but I see his career moving outside of basketball...

Foyle and Pietrus should be the 16th and 17th men on the bench. I just want them for the pregame warmups, where they really shine.

I'd bring him back at his salary (the 6.9 mil we're already paying him) and play him as a backup Power Forward (use him against the bigger and wider 4s (guys like Milsap, Landry, Maxiel) that aren't too fast and don't have long range jumpers. Midway thrugh the season (if he's not helping us), I'd buy him out again (

) and maybe shave off some of the 6.9 or use him as trade bait and as an expiring.
