If Mikael Pietrus didn't have the groin injury...

Post#1 » by Abyss Impact » Sun Jun 15, 2008 6:13 pm

Would the Warriors have made the playoffs instead of Denver? I think Pietrus injury really hurt our play, and we were not the same when Pietrus went out.

Thoughts?

If the Queen of England had 'nads, she'd be the King.

Pietrus is made of glass. He makes Baron look like an ironman.

Anybody watching NBA Finals Game 5 start of 3rd quarter? Paul Pierce stepped out of bounds when he was trying to drive. I guess he is a train wreck too right? :D

Edit: At 1:53 in the third quarter Ray Allen stepped out of bounds in the corner. He jumped, but still, I guess he is a train wreck.

Warriors made a big mistake... not trading Pietrus for Posey.

Enough with the Air France love fest. However...you're right. Pietrus eventually DID learn, and while he didn't turn perfect..as you point out....even Pierce makes mistakes. Yeah...that injury hit just when he was on a roll and it quite likely hurt us,maybe enough to lose the 8 seed.

Ironic.

Pietrus finally became much of what we hoped for...but only after both parties gave it up. A Year ago MP wanted to stay. Now he's seen that he's more wanted elsewhere and we don't have the $$ to be top bid. I'd hope we don't lose Azu too. Azu + Pietrus+ Barnes + POB will..for at LEAST a year be of more use than what we get via draft and low end FA's. We probably would lose ground except that the young guys who do survive figure to get better...and we MIGHT finally handle the draft wisely.

Losing Pietrus would be the worst move Mullin made in history of the NBA. Pietrus is everything other teams want, and not playing him on his natural position (SF) is a disgrace to France, and a disgrace to PFs beause Pietrus always out plays our regular PF, aka Harrington/Wright/Croshere.

What about Bukie? I thought he did pretty good at the 4 too.

And BTW if wasn't his groin, you forgot? Petey's vagina was ruptured.

and PS: I always thought that JR had a small twinkie.

I think PF is cursed with the groin injury. First Pietrus then Wright.
