whats up guys! long time real gm'er but dont write much. anyway i have though from the middle of last season that stromile would be a great fit for us!! does anyone agree? i know he might have a kind of big contract to take on but iam sure with a package deal (harrington..ect) we could work something out. what do you guys think?

a little over paid for what he can do but he far from sucks! this guy is a shot blocker and really aggressive aroud the bucket. he also can run in a up tempo system. he would be a great fit.

Did you forget Don Nelson is the head coach?

I'm not a big fan of Stromile but a trade based around Al for Stromile and Sean Williams would be worth a look and works on the trade checker. Stro is an expiring.

He's been less than expected everywhere he's been...and the expectations have sunk rather low. No team that had him has any regrets about his exit. He makes Pietrus look like Magic Johnson when it comes to Basketball IQ,He's not cheap labor...just plays that way.

Stro is the poison pill you swallow in a deal where you get something you REALLY want. Nobody trades squat just to get Stro. that once a week highlight moment gets offset by a dozen moments of crappiness.

I think you are underestimating Mikael Pietrus. Sure he makes mistakes, but who doesn't? Thats why he is such a good basketball player, and he is my fav player on the Warriors roster ATM.

The first 4 posts of the thread by Abyss were full of win. The last one, not so much.

Stro is dumber then Petey. let's face it , if he was on this team Don wouldn't let him touch the court once.

Harrington for Swift and Van Horne works in that GS gets a veteran backup center in Swift on an expiring deal and a little more room to sign players to fill out the roster.

GS would probably be the best team for Stro to play on IMO. He was often mentionned in trade rumours with the Warriors before, and his playing style is a pretty good fit. He had some good games against them in the past. The BBall IQ crap is really redundant, I'm pretty sure he would be able to perform in Nelson's system.
