I bet we could have won the championship back in 2007, if the matchups were right.
First Round: Golden State Warriors vs. Dallas Mavericks
Second Round: Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets
Western Conference Finals: Golden State Warriors vs. Phoenix Suns
NBA Finals: Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Our team back then matched up well with those squads. And it sucks, because we could have made it to the WCF had Tracy McGrady and his Houston Rockets won Game 7 (which was on their homecourt)of their first round series against the Jazz. We would have faced the Rockets in the 2nd round and run Yao out of the building. But instead, we lose in the second round to the Jazz and now people think we're a team that can only succeed if we play against Dallas. Oh well.
