Think Miami would be interested in Baron? We can trade Baron + Randolph (or Wright) for Beasley + J William + fillers?

Why would they trade Beasley?

They'le trade marrion or Haslem before they trade Beasley. That's why a Baron 4 Marrion trade would be perfect fit for both. They get the pg they need and we get the run and gun rebounding machine we need.

There were rumors that Miami actively tried to trade down and not take Beasley right before the draft.

Pat Riley wanted O.J. Mayo instead of Michael Beasley. If Riley can convince Miami's front office to trade Beasley, then I think the Heat may pull the trigger if a deal is there. I'd trade Al Harrington, Baron Davis, and Anthony Randolph for Michael Beasley, Jason Williams, and Shawn Marion. I don't know if they'd do it, though. It may be worth a try.

Don't think Miami will trade both Marion and Beasley.

Mullin: Hey, how ya doing old buddy?
Riley: All's well, what can I help you with?
Mullin: How's the weather down in South Florida?
Riley: Hot. So, what can I do for your?
[10 second pause]
Mullin: Err......How about that kid Beasley, he's one hell of a talent.
Riley: Yeah he is, I've had some clowns calling me all weekend long trying to pry him off my hands with some very weak deals, and I hope you aren't going to be the next one to do that.
Mullin: No, actually.....err...I just called to say Congratz.
Riley: Uhhhhh, thanks.
Mullin: Alright, have a g'day.
Riley: O....K....

Haha, that would be funny watching Riley try to convince himself to sell the Heat's future away. I could see a Taxi Driver moment as Riley argues with himself in the mirror: "Are you talking to me? I'm the only one here so you must be talking to me..."
