If I was the Clippers, I would try to trade Kaman for Camby, who would be a much better fit with Baron and Brand.

Camby has lost the fire. I'd stick with Kaman.

Throw Eric Gordon and Al Thornton in there, and a few decent pickups, that team could be a top seed in the west the next few years...

I have always thought Brand would be the perfect 4 to play with Baron. When Baron's hot they're owning, when he's not, Brand's grabbing his misses. Match made in heaven.

Baron in the half court is laughable. He has to go one on one, or move without the ball in the half court, both of which take too much energy for him to exert. He can't shoot jumpers (25%), so trying to drive on a guy who gives you 4 feet because he doesn't respect your J is tough.

Why in the world would Denver trade Camby to the Clips?!? The Nuggets are trying to lose salary, not add it, and Kaman's contract is bigger than Camby's and longer. Even if you make salaries match, you think Melo and AI want to play with Lurch?

Baron at the 1, Gordon at the 2, Thorton at the 3, Brand at the 4- all running, with Kaman rebounding sounds good for the Clips. I suggest the Clips give Baron the money he wants, and take him off our hands.

Injuries cannot be predicted, but with Baron, they can. He takes an automatic sabbatical for 20 games each season. The only time he doesn't is a contract year; coincidence? It is ridiculous that people are surprised he opted out. He has built the case over the last year for somebody to overpay him, whether it be the Warriors or the some other sucker. He played nice with those epiphanies he had with Jerry West, to playing 82 games, so saying all the right things on KNBR.

I am praying for a blockbuster sign and trade. Give me a power forward who can play center for us, like Wilcox, Lee, Camby. Or a small forward who can rebound like Artest, Magette, Rudy Gay.

Baron Brand and Kamen are 3 allstars. You know Brand and Kamen can work together. Baron played half court with the Hornets they just need compementary players to create spacing.

I don't know if Brand and Kamen can play together. Kamen had one decent year with Brand, but his breakout came with Brand sitting on the bench in a suit. Kamen needs his touches so he can turn it over 4 times a game.

There is more discussion of the Clipper's future lineup on the GS board than our board, this is why we need Baron Davis more than you do.

You're giving me a "Pietrus" for Maggette? I think that is an anticipation call. We do a sign and trade with Clips of Baron, they do the same with Mags, and add Al Thorton to the deal.

Everybody will complain about not enough shots, but we score the most in the league! We love shooters, and Thorton will put your boy Buke deeper on the bench.

We need big bodies at the 3 (Maggette, Artest) and 4 (Wilcox, Lee, Anthony Mason) to make up for Beans at the 5 and Tay at the 1. I am still mad at Chucky Atkins for that shoulder check on Monta last year. If I was on the court, I would have decked Chucky, and I'm only 215. We not only need a killer attitude, which we have in Stack Jack, but we need beef to let people know we can 'go in' when need be.

I have to say I am not exactly seeing the whole Baron in LA being their missing piece to win a championship idea.

They will be better obviously which is all you can ask, but they aren't serious contenders in the West.

The Clippers didn't aquire Baron to win a championship. They aquired him for the same reason we did back when, to be relevant.

If we stay relevant without him then all ends well. If the Clippers have a better record than us over the next 4 years then we screwed the pooch . . . again.
