Raymond Felton and Wallace to Warriors?

Sorry about Baron leaving.......but now you guys might need a point guard. The Bobcats drafted Augustin to take over point and Wallace might have fallen out of favor with Jordan for whatever reason. I think Felton and Wallace would thrive under Don Nelson. Felton is a young pg who can be molded into a poor man's BD. He won't work under Larry brown but he is dying to play in an uptempo system. He is still only 24 and has bright future in the league. Wallace is 28 and averaged almost 20ppg the last 2 years. Wallace can play both forward positions.....he would especially be good at power forward in an uptempo system. What would you guys give up for Felton and Wallace? Brandan Wright and Al Harrington works salary wise.......is that fair? If not what is fair?

How about you take out Brandan Wright.
And make it Felton/O.Harrington/Sean May for Al Harrington?

Wright just isn't on the table. If GS was in a win now push they could trade him for more immediate help, but that clearly isn't the case so Wright stays.
Also, GS's needs are at a starting SG, and reserves at PG and C - which really don't fit Felton or Wallace.

So you think Monta Ellis is going to play point guard? Haha

I'd bet money that Monta Ellis is our starting point guard on opening day.

He's already played pg...
And what, Felton's an upgrade? He's such a great pg that Charlotte had to reach for a 5 10 pg to drive him out of town. Felton couldn't even start at PG over Jeff McInnis last year.

How about no?
Its obvious that the Bobcats have 0 interest in a deal like this.

And the Warriors have zero interest in the original deal proposed.

I wouldn't mind giving Felton a change of scenery. I'd agree that Charlotte isn't going to bundle him up with other guys to get someone like Al Harrington, but I'd like to see a realistic idea what they would want. Expecting to get a young prospect like Wright for a young prospect that has already had a chance to prove himself and is looking like a disappointment is not realistic. The original deal of course wasn't just Wright for Felton, but my point is that it would take a lot to make it worthwhile to trade Wright. Marco I would do...

Felton would be a waste of time.

Not at all. We hardly spend any time on young players. Once they figure it out-we trade them. If they don't figure it out we just let em walk. Often we don't know if they figured it out or not...didn't take the time to look.

Gerald Wallace = hollow man stats.
He's a solid player but not as good as his value is going to dictate. Want no part of Felton, whos less of a PG than Monta.

I throw up in my mouth just thinking about Wallace and Felton being our responsibility.
No OkaFoyle, please.

I like Felton as a backup quite a bit. But I certainly wouldn't trade Wright for him.

You've seen him play, right?
You're not just reading his assists numbers?
I'm serious, let us know what we've missed on Felton.
