Nah. i know i know he won't be a superstar at all (not admitting that he'll have Baron's value) but give the money to the other positions! You won't regret it, Jwill can run a team (if healthy)

It's a gamble for the Warriors considering where J Will's health is for concern. If this were for backup purposes, perhaps.

You think that Ellis will be ready to take the reins at PG?

beno udrih got the MLE from Sacto. Duhon cannot shoot the side of the barn, except that night Baron was guarding him....

I am going to go with most favorite dubbs fans option (and to send an overpay offer) of Iggy to see what happens. He can man the SG position with assist abilities, freeing up Monta to do what he does best. With defense I might add.

The second option is Josh Smith. Childress if Smith is matched as well.

I would then get Anthony Johnson to run the backup PG spot for 25 min/game to allow Monta to shift to SG position some.

You guys really think Ellis can play full time PG? That would take a lot from his scoring. While he has ball handling skills, he is not your typical court general.... You need a pass first point guard!

J-Will can't score nor distrubute and he has been very poor for years, I'd go after Chris Duhon if I were Golden State.

He pretty much sucked the entire season last year because of injuries in the early part but he has been effective during the latter part. Also, Heat gave up around 40 games into the season, NOBODY was playing up to their level including Jwill.

Forgive me. It IS offseason and i still have no team yet. Big time player fan here and i really love if Jason joins a team that can run and run, i feel that he has 2 or 3 years left in his tank.

Yes, Duhon is a pass-first PG who is also a good defender. He's not the guy you get for his offense - which is inconsistent. However, Du shoots only if he cant distribute the ball. he is by far the most accurrate passer on the Bulls - and a real favorite of Scott Skiles

The fact that both NY & Orlando wanted to talk to him ASAP means something. the guy is not a dud. Bulls have a logjam at guard or else they would be trying to keep him

are you on drugs???
he's one of the best passing point guards in the league and has been for some time now, his only knock is his injuries and shot selection from time to time. he'd be an excellent backup for monta in my opinion, not to mention he's exciting to watch.

Thank you supafly. Yes, the injury issues are indeed errr... issues that need to be considered. With his age, he is indeed fit to be a back-up but MAY even be effective in long stretches as a starter.

Maybe you guys can steal Delonte West from the Cavs (he's restricted, though).

West is an alright stopgap... no need to 'steal' him from anyone. If he were part of a sign and trade for Harrington or Jax, persay, I wouldn't be opposed...

JWill was garbage last year, now he's injury prone garbage... he was getting outplayed by Chris Quinn for chrissakes.. I'd only sign Jason Williams if Kevin Ollie turned down our max deal.

J Wills game and durability have gone downhill. There is some chance J Will bounces back...but what's the price tag?

There's also the chance some overlooked guy can be even better. You need to carefully look at the clues and play the odds. J Will may think he's a part time starter someplace, including here and expect a whole lot better deal than we expect him to be worth. maybe another team agrees. J Will is an option if he's the low price low risk option.

At best....J Will can be the short term best guy. He won't be a keeper. In 2 years Watson might be seen as a real asset. There maybe be a better Watson out there. There may be a "patch" who's more efficient and durable than J Will or at least less $. We will fish in the free agent pool for the big one,but next phase we fill in the details. We SHOULD have a lot of contact,multi-task,but the big stuff has to get done pretty quick if it's getting done at all.
CENSORED... No comment.

But Jwill is better than Tinsley and cheaper.
