LA media playing with Warriors heads

The Warriors and Clippers have been staging war with each other during this free agency period. Now it appears that the Clippers have thrown the next puch in this fight. However ,it looks like in my eyes the punch is bogus. The 76ers have no interest in Elton Brand with the price at 100 million for 5 years. The 76ers have 11-12 dollars to play with. The 76ers have a big interest in Josh Smith and have had a big interest in Josh Smith for a long time. Josh is going back on a flight to Atlanta today. No other information is avaiable at this point.

I think the Clippers sent out a bogus rumor to the writer who put the comment in the Times. I hope you guys get Brand to stick it to the Clippers. I want my Josh Smith, unless you guys are planning on signing him.

After the draft, we no longer have very little interest in Smith, and after the move that the Clips just pulled (stealing away our franchise player), we want theirs. At least that's our first priority. If it turns that we lose our, then we turn our attention elsewhere.

I decided I don't want Brand at that price..I just got off the phone with Nellie..He took it pretty hard..Poor dumb bastard...I told him to be proud that we screwed the Wizards and Clippers cap...We win...Now let's go get Brent Barry and bag of fritos.

The Warriors should actually aim for Losh Smith but even at the max,ATL might match (even if it means letting Childeress escape). GSW bids for Brand mostly as a balance of power move. Don't let a rival get a big lead if your goal is to catch him. Already LAL joined a West power elite. The Blazers will inevitably get there....add the Clips and GSW needs big moves to just stat top 10 in the West,and some luck to make that top 8.

Smith is a LOT younger. Brand's injury may have cost him some mobility or left possibilities of re-injury.
GSW has to remember trading for Ralph Sampson. The Deal cost us 2 starters and Ralph's chronic knee problems just got worse. He hardly even played here. Nellie was the guy who did that deal.

Brent Barry and a bag of Fritos would only be a cap hit of $2.99. We'd have enough left for beer and dip. :lol:
