He's perfect. Ellis will be our dynamic pg. Randolph will be a great supporting player, like Odom but better. But we need a star on the wing, someone powerful and explosive. This is the guy

Hendrix is the real deal. I'm saying it now. This guy will be the steal of the draft. Wright's got nice tools but there's too much duplication here. He doesn't compliment the other guys well. Ship out Wright next year for bench help, or if we need to move up. Great depth behind a starting lineup that can run and play in the halfcourt. Don't sign anyone. Let Ellis get his warts at pg and Randolph and Hendrix get some big time experience. Then let Derozan come in and steal the show.

I believe.

Not a fan of Wright? Man...shipping him out for bench help is a little harsh, no?

Not a little...a lot. Get draft picks. Use 1 guy who doesn't fit to get a bunch of other guys who do.

You do realize that by tanking the season we would have to be like the miami heat right? I mean even with ellis having growing pains at pg i think the team will still be a 30+ win team. Ship out Wright? For bench players?

Small backcourts don't win, LF. I was hoping you, long time loyal fan, would see that from experience. You have a good eye for talent. Jrue is the real deal (although Jennings will be better). But you disappoint me with your refusal to see that we need a big, powerful guy at the two. One with handles. That's hard to find...DeRozan is that guy. Once in a decade talent...

I'm a Holiday fanatic right now...DeRozan needs to show me more than scoring...Plenty of time though...Thank God for the 19 year old age limit

BTW-Jrue's 6'4.

Trade Sjax, Harrington for picks. No sense being in no man's land, go all the way with it. Play Ellis, Belly, Randolph, Hendrix, Beans. It'll be tank galore.

You have to realize that when I say bench players I'm talking about Julian Wright bench players. Brandon Rush bench players. Or draft picks to get some great bench players. But to do this you have to have a keen eye for winning players. No Ike Diogus, Marco Belinellis, please.

6'4? Not good enough. We need someone 6'6. Big and powerful. Just barely past the cutoff from short ain't gonna cut it.

Agree with the first part of your post, but, i heavily disagree with trading BWright. I would not trade someone with Bosh potential so that someone with Millsap potential can play.

Well we don't have to trade Wright now. That's the beauty of it. I'm just thinking down the road and what the best fit will be. Beans is gonna be here for a long time as our C. We need a power player at pf. Trade Wright and get the most you can for him, whether it's now or later. I'm not sold on Hendrix/Beans frontcourt but it makes sense. It'll do. But the backcourt is what really owns.

Wow.. he was sh***** all over the league I used to play in (Moore leage) in southern California (Long Beach area). When I was in HS that was some damn good competition. Long Beach Poly was, of course, the best school around and he was embarrassing them. My former Lakewood Lancer team looked like a bunch of shrimps out there though. We need to see if he could do that in front of real competition in college though. And yes, thank god for the 19 age limit.

Out of the guards in next years draft, id rank them:

Rubio
Jrue
Derozan
Curry
Evans
Jennings
Hardin

Jennings is going to be a nice player in the league from what ive read. Cant wait for him to play for the Cats.

Eric Maynor isnt in the talks for pgs??? Hmm...hopefully VCU gets some exposure this season. Hes a true gem.

Maynor is no joke. But he isn't in the Rubio/Jrue/Jennings/Curry range as far as PG's go. I'd probably put him in the next tier with Lawson, Hudson, Collison. (although i think i like him more than all 3 of them)

and obviously, it can all change depending on how Jrue and Jennings play next year, and if Curry/tyreke/Hudson can adjust to being PG's full time.
