Do you think we need a 1 or a 5 more? Are we throwing way to much cash at Brand? Was it just cuz they got baron so we stuck our tongues out and offered more money cuz we had it. With his injury last year can he play in nellies system efficiently? i ask this simply because i am not familiar with the clips style of ball.

brand would play the 4 not the 5. but with the plethora of big men we have (andris, AR-4, bwright, hendrix, Al and possibly FA pick up) we need a 1 more than ever.

monta is a 2 guard whos too small to guard the 2 and his pg skills are pretty horrendous. if he can be groomed into one great, but right now we need a pg and we need one bad.

Just a question...how many warrior games have you watched? Montas PG skills arent great, but they certainly arent horrendous. Handles wise he is a little better than acceptable, and passing and court vision is ok. Maybe he wont be a super stud at PG, but he certainly wont be a horrendous PG. Thats why the best thing to do would be to pair him in the backcourt with a SG that handles a lot( Roy, Joe Johnson, Iggy)

Our biggest need is a 2.

Monta's ceiling is at the PG position. The only way its beneficial to the Warriors to have him at SG long term is if we end up with a PG that's big enough to help with guarding SG's. To make things interesting, next draft happens to have some solid, 6'3+ PG's.
