I actually like these two guys and signing them to small deals would be the route I wanted to see the team take. I just don't understand Maggette at all.

I like both of them...Both are top-level scrubs and real solid people..I like the two signings if they happen..
Dooling can play with Monta in the backcourt...Ronny is a great energy guy who can gaurd the beef of the NBA..

If we end up getting MaFrickengette at 5 years 40 mil or less...I'll be fine with the moves...MaFrickengette becomes a solid trade chip at 8 mil a year.

Yeah, 5/40 would be okay, but I'm 99% sure that we did 5/50. Maybe the plan is to let him try to score about 30 ppg under Nellie and then we'll trade him at the deadline for an expiring and picks.

Time to sign Dooling to an 8 year/$65M deal.

Wow, 2 real NBA bench players in Turiaf and Dooling.

The depth is looking pretty good.

Dooling has nothing coming from the Magic and is one of the premier defensive reserves at small guard in the league. The contact is strong.

Turiaf agrees with Warriors
FREE AGENT: The Lakers have seven days to match the 4-year, $17 million contract offer.

That Biedrins signs the QO is total speculation.

I've always liked Turiaf... been wanting to trade our Frenchman for him for ages. Without Baron, it seems like at least we'll have a better rounded roster - one less star, but a better bench and no scrubs.

Turiaf just made Kosta liquid if the Lakers let us have him.

How so, he's guaranteed.

Plus we have to keep Kosta so Biedrins agent doesn't get mad at us ;)

In a trade Kosta is not worth much.

I think -bob-'s 15 man roster (including Kosta) is a pretty good estimation. Though Amundsen is probably already on a plane out of Vegas.

Kosta is $2 million in trade filler if anything requires it, between now and way on to next February - low level enough to not scare teams off if he's tossed on top to match, say, Al's $9 millionish, to a higher salaried player on an expiring or something else. If he does anything on the court, fine.

Just another tool, Twink. Just another tool. No debate on this one, really.

I like getting Turiaf but I really hope we don't get Dooling!!!!!! I'd rather the W's get Delonte West or Daniel Gibson. Ramon Sessions is another name I'd like to get over Dooling.

Ah liquid as in a liquid asset, something that could be moved. Not liquid as in he's gone, liquidated. Gotcha. Though he has probably always been liquid in that sense.

Nelson? Who's that?

Maggette will play SF, Jackson will play SG. Maggette rebounds (some) while Jax has better handles (slightly) Buike will play more G than SF,with Jax sliding to the 3

Probably true. He's pretty much a wasted spot at this point. Love to have Lasme instead, for example, and I think most would say the same. That's saying something!

Typo or NBDL player that exists lol. Thats the 15th man spot, they can do whatever they want. Have one of the Summer League guys make it.
